DD stayed with MIL for a few nights this week whilst me and DH had some very early starts and very late finishes at work this week, and as always, she had her running round with no nappy on and going to the toilet (seems to be obsessed with it!) She was dry whilst we were there (3 hours), put a nappy on her for the ride home and then when we got home, took it off until bed time and she stayed dry with the help of a million toilet trips. Back on for bed, and off again this morning until nap time this afternoon. Only 1 accident today.
Thing is, it seems to be a bit of a game... she is asking to go to the toilet every 5 minutes, and then wants to wipe her bits and wash her hands which she loves doing, so I think she is asking to go just to do that. I'd say about 1 time out of 8 she manages a wee. I don't want to not take her though in case she really needs to go and has an accident which upsets her.
So I'm left wondering whether I should back down and wait a few months until she understands more and has more bladder control, or whether I should just see it through now that I (well MIL) have started.
What would you do? :S
