OK, DD has now been potty training for a week. Started badly, got much better very quickly, and on days 4, 5 and 6 only had one accident. She's struggling with poos more than wees, but from reading other posts on here thats quite common it seems.
She has been dry during naps all week, and dry overnight for the past 4 nights, and can wee on demand (ie whenever I put her on the toilet/potty, she wees) and sometimes tell me that she needs to go. So far, so encouraging.
It has been her birthday this weekend and so obviously very busy and exciting - so we had 3 accidents yesterday and 2 so far today. I'm feeling very discouraged and wondering about putting her back in nappies. DH thinks its our fault for not watching her closely and reminding her often enough this weekend.
I do think that it would be a shame to put her back in nappies after doing so well, but not sure how long I can cope with an accident or two every day!
I can handle one every few days, but this is a bit much!
Any advice?
