Hi everyone,

I wondered if you could help. When did you get your first period again after birth? Those who weren't breastfeeding that is. Sadly we lost our darling boy a few days after birth. Feel like I am in limbo waiting for my body to settle down. And my GP was useless on this topic. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry, I don't have much of an answer but didn't want to read and run. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I'm currently 5 weeks pp and haven't got mine yet, I was expressing for 2 weeks though, not sure if that makes a difference. I don't know if it's right, but I'm sure I read somewhere it's usually about 6 weeks?

So sorry for your loss, i didn't bf and had mine at 4 weeks but i think that's quite early. Hope you and your family are all taking care of each other x
