I am 6 weeks post partum (got my post natal check on Wednesday) and not entirely sure what contraception to use.

I've only ever been on the mini pill. The first time I was on it was great, my periods stopped and I didn't really suffer any side effects. Then I stopped for a while and went back on it and it was awful! It really messed up my periods, was having 2 really long and heavy periods a month!

I've thought about the mirena coil or the implant - but heard quite a few horror stories with both! I know different ones work for different people so just wanting to know what works for you?
