4months PP period for 3 weeks?

As the title says my baby is 16 weeks old and I have been bleeding for over 3 weeks.
At first I thought it was just my period coming back but it has had times of the most hideously heavy blood flow - really pleased I kept the left over maternity pads!! As it huge clots, in an hour going through pads / clothes etc.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Am I paranoid to speak to the GP?

I’ve had multiple miscarriages in the past which were similar to this (heavy / clots etc) but I don’t know if this is just a normal post natal thing and google hasn’t helped.
