A little embarrassing which is why I have wrote it on here haven't got round to going to the doctors yet not that I'm sure they could do anything?
So I had my second baby 4 months ago and as the title says I am really loose down thereBlush i do pelvic floors religiously as this is on my mind a lot and really getting me down:( when I have sex with my partner I can feel just how slack it is. Partner is continuously changing positions. Probably to where he can feel some sensation he has mentioned before it's not as tight as before (clearly after childbirth x2) but it's not just a little bit it's a lot. I also find I fanny fart a lot through the day just going into a standing position. Air just gets in. What can I do it's really getting me down I feel so disgusting😢 I feel there may be slight prolapse as when I looked it the mirror there is a smal white flesh at the entrance of my caging. The size of a pea? I'm not sure I'm just guessing that's what it may be. Can anyone help me 😢

Sorry you’re going through this Flowers Can you request pelvic floor physio? They offer it at the hospital where I delivered. Cxx

Flowers have you had any issues with incontinence? I reckon if they check you for prolapse that may also speed a referral.

No I haven't! Which is strange. I am only young though. I do also find it I have a bath water literally pools in there. I do think there is a prolapse though as I said there is a white flesh that comes out although it's only small. At a loss really hope it can be sorted it's dreadful 😢

If there is a prolapse, do you think this is what's causing it to be how it is down there? It's terrible there is literally no friction down there.

I'm not sure, I'm sorry. I reckon if you've had two babies it might take some time to get the tone back in your muscles, you might need to do loads of pelvic floor exercises, throughout the day. I have also heard your weight gain and weight might have an affect. Did you have any tearing, might they have sewed something back the wrong way?

Four months is still fairly early days, but the key is making sure you're doing the exercises right, often enough, and definitely finding out if there's anything else wrong that needs sorting - get thee to the GP and a specialist physio referral at least for starters.

It's really a shame that we don't all get specialist physio assessment postnatally as standard. It would avoid so much trouble later on - shows you how low priority "women's troubles" are Hmm

Op, take a look into electric toners.
I bought one after having my last. Electric stimulation (no way painful at all, I promise you) targets the muscles and make them contract back into more or less to where they should be.
There are tonnes of rave reviews online and the company has the best customer service, they are really understanding, patient and friendly.
The downside of course is the cost but you can buy refurbished units at discount on eBay, which you then only need to buy brand new probes to use. I did that.
I really recommend it because getting to a physio isnt practical and also the unit takes out all the guess work of wether or not I'm doing my exercises properly. It takes care of it all for you.

Here

I bought a refurbished Tight and Tone. The screen had a small crack in it originally, so it went to be refurbished, other than that it was brand new. It came with brand new leads and probes, lubricant, manual, batteries, and a really nice quality purple zip up hard case.

I did an online post natal exercise course, it's mainly pelvic floor and core rehab, together with seeing a physio. You can google post natal exercise or prolapse or diastasis recti and you'll probably find the course I did. Also if you can see a women's health physio - one that specialises in post natal rehab, then I would do that too. Your gp could refer you if you don't want to pay.

I had this but it really did tighten up within the year.
