I'm 21 weeks PP, after deep 2nd degree tear that immediately infected as antibiotics weren't prescribed. Stitches failed, 1mm perineum left and 2 more infections. MWs spotted none of this!

Last saw the GP at 10 weeks PP. since then cannot get appointment as surgery is oversubscribed.

I have recovered some - but have incontinence and worsening prolapse. Was promised physio but as can't get appointment can't bloody get referral.

Obs this is getting me down somewhat, as I feel my vagina protruding further! Can't exercise, feel crap, husband too scared to attempt to resume relations.

How can I get GP appointment?? Shall I scream PND risk (it does bring me to tears frequently). I feel so abandoned by the NHS.

Try speaking to your health visitor. Mine has managed to get me a GP appointment when I couldn't.

Thank you for the reply. I am having a whinge cos it's helping!

The HV saw us at 6 weeks, didn't turn up for second appointment and after I chased up a different one signed us off till baby is 1.

Three separate MWs also didn't turn up for scheduled appointments.
