3 months and teething? Surely not!

We are having episodes of real unrest with our 3 month old baby. He suffers from colic so just treated as that but my mum visited yesterday and said he looked like he was teething. He was very red in the cheeks and has been pitting his hands in his mouth alot recently. Also the usual colic remedies didn't settle him. My sil said that bith of my nephews cut a tooth at 4 months. Surely he is too little to be teething?

My daughter (now 19!) Had her first tooth at 6 weeks old. So does happen. Some babies can be born with teeth.

OMG really? Wow, it might very well be a tooth then. Thankyou x

Babies can begin teething early (and can be born with teeth!).

Look into some teething treatments and teething toys and hopefully that will help

Our little one started showing teething type pain at 12 weeks then at 14 weeks his first tooth poked through and by the end of 15weeks he had both bottom front teeth!
