Embarrassing Question..TMI!!

Hello,

So this is embarrassing, but I need to find out if this is something true for anyone else!

I have just had my second baby after 8 years. Both were C sections, the first was an emergency after 72 horrific hours of labour, and this one was planned due to lots of complications. (Planned not elective, am a bit sensitive about that!)

My embarrassing thing is this: I seem to have to wipe my bum quite a lot, even when there hasn't been any activity in the area (if you know what I mean!). I'm regularly having to go to the loo, ostentatiously for a wee, but because I need to wipe.

Is this due to the C section? Pelvic floor perhaps? Has anyone else experienced this?

Absolutely dreading the idea someone might know who I am!

I'm sorry OP I'm not entirely sure what you mean, do you mean that if you have a poo and wipe yourself clean the you go back next time and wipe and it isn't clean?

It's awful to think someone might know you isn't it!! I'm forever name changing and putting misleading details in the hope nobody figures out who I am

Do you think you might have piles - is all I can think of? They might be pushing out and make you think you need a wipe and/or they may be making it harder to clean post poo? Maybe get some wet wipes for beside the loo to help you feel cleaner? And if it is piles then there's lots of creams etc you can get to help. Hope it gets better for you!
