c-section wound bleeding

Hi everyone
I had an ELCS on Friday that went well and i was discharged from hospital today. Since I've been home I've been moving around a lot more than I was in hospital and when i got changed this evening I noticed that the wound was bleeding a bit. I called the post natal ward and they told me to put something gauzy on it and keep an eye on it- if it started to bleed heavily I should go back to maternity triage.
Has this happened to anyone else? Just wondering if it stopped on its own and if you know what caused it to open...?

I'm two weeks on and mine has just stopped bleeding. It was never heavy, but appeared open for about a centimetre. No one seemed at all concerned, I just put a plaster on it. Has now healed. Hope yours does too.
