Hello,
I am wondering if you can help me, I am a student studying Dental therapy. As part of our learning we get involved in oral health promotion. This is aimed at prevention and control of oral disease (decay and gum disease) and promoting oral health (brushing well, eating a varied and balanced diet, the use of fluoride products and attending the dentist for regular routine care).
As part of my studies I am looking to design a poster and leaflet aimed at post natal parents. I was wanting some insight from you into what issues, if any you think you would benefit from as a new parent/parent of a new baby with regards to oral health. This could be for you as the parent or brief advice for your new-born, if you think this is an appropriate time to give such advice.
Any information you could give me would be extremely helpful.
Many thanks in advance.
