Hello all,
Just to let you all know that Milo is doing great bless him, has alot of swelling on the entire left hand side of his head but he is back to his normal self and scooting around in his walker happily.
Also wanted to thank Pinktulips, Littlemissnorty, MarkStretch and LBB for their kind words on my thread. Obviously i didnt post it to get a bollocking because i honestly do feel absolutely bloody awful about Milo's accident, i just wanted to tell everyone to basically use a strap at all times - everyone now knows that Morrisons in some cases dont provide them unless you ask and all i was saying is that its kind of difficult to ask when you dont have the information easily available.
I went back this morning and the sign is right where you would put your hands to push the trolley and i also took a photo of it because i really do believe it should be bigger, its approx an inch and half across and the text is about this size - its too small considering right next to it is a huge BEWARE in yellow pertaining to having your bag stolen. I took some photos which i will put on my profile this afternoon of the handle of the trolley and the words really are minute
I do blame myself obviously as i just should have gone to my usual supermarket where Milo is always strapped in without fail, i just assumed there would be some at Morrsions because when you use equipment intended for small children or babies, for instance buggies or highchairs they come with straps - i am feeling pretty shitty about it all as of course i feel responsible and yes he is fine but i cant help thinking that he might not have been and it was partially (some people think totally) my fault.
Accidents happen, my DD2 was run over when she was three and it was a definate accident but if i hadnt have shopped at sodding Morrisons or i had seen their miniscule sign on the trolley handle about the straps being available at customer services then Milo would never have fallen
PT thanks for the virtual Gin and Choccies feel really depressed and weepy atm about all of this, am obviously over the moon my little angel is ok but you do worry still dont you?
Anyway enough about all that, sorry i havent posted in a while - we are moving next month and its all go here as marketing our house as well which is a massive pain in the arse for a slattern like me - got to keep it really really really tidy for viewings - had to put poor Milo's jumperoo away fgs but no room to swing a cat in our living room otherwise.
MS how did you valuations go? Are you going to be moving anytime soon as well? Massive stress isn't it?
Katie, Milo has 8 teeth and started to get them when he was around 6 months - he's biting now too As BRT said fontanelle closes around 1 and a half to 2 years old i think. 8 month development check happens in this area but i missed it as was away at the time however i know he is fine and doing what he should be at this age (and more besides probably).
Dinky have a great holiday the suns shining here too but its probably a degree or two colder eh?
