I hope that this will do you all as the last thread ran out.

Let the fun and chocolate eating commence...

Darn, I tried to post on the last thread but you beat me to it Swali! Would love to see a pic of the sling, Swali - can you post on your profile or email it to me?

Why are we still bold?

No idea, maybe we're very special or maybe MN is finally recognising our prolific posting status?

I feel really nervous that no-one is going to come over to this thread now. How stupid is that?!

I've emailed you so you've got my email address now.

Can you let me know how much you would want for it, too?

I feel bad buying it if you might regret it though

Ooooooooooo, been meaning to ask what you lot think about my weaning plans. B is 21 weeks old at the mo. I was wondering about offering her some finger foods at about 24 weeks and seeing how things go for a couple of weeks then reassessing if need be.

Auld, I haven't called a teacher/tutor by their surname since I was 16 and I've done a LOT of courses.

Baby yoga was a LOT of fun today.

Yet again it's not something I can tell Robin the cost of but it is fun

I'm here!

da Boff - deadline is beginning Dec so plenty time

Auld - perhaps less formal due to nature of the medium?
At college my English teacher allowed us (IB students) to call her by first name (only 3 of us. so small, informal classes) but A-level students had to call her Mrs D.

Frekkles, don't feel too downhearted. Wee H (my wee H that is!) is all ribs and spine too. It is probably just a blip. Plus inherent inaccuracies in weighing etc....

The last page of old thread was normal, not bold. Someone start a thread in site stuff?

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 16/09/2009 15:40

There's already a thread on it in Site Stuff - seems Tech is onto it.

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 16/09/2009 15:46

oh poor you - teeth? Orbit is still teething and won't feed properly, or sleep properly. Calpol/Calprofen has just bought me a sleep and a good feed and he's so much happier.

Im here!

I have a toddler feeling very sorry for himself as he flipped a caravan step over on his foot last night and has now got a lovely bruise at the bottom of his big toe nail and he is currently growing 3-4 teeth as well so hes not happy and Violet is just a scream machine at the minute. Today is a good day I have only threatened to launch her ouut the window once!

Hello

Having a better day thank goodness. E is asleep in his carseat so I am running up and down between computer, chores and checking he hasn't died - at least I might lose some of my humungousness that way.

Sorry to hear about your toddler's bruise, Frogmella.

Thanks WFH for the suggestion - he was already Calpolled up to the eyeballs and still screaming. I think you're right that teething was part of it - he's also got a cold and probably still post op pain too . In desperation yesterday I got a rice cake out of the cupboard and helped E gum it - he kind of gagged on it and kind of liked it and some of it seemed to go down so hurrah. Didn't stop the crying but hey ho.

Re slings, I don't know that much about ring slings. Pretty much any fabric seems to work well so it's down to personal preference. Silk ones or other slippy material are a bit harder to deal with (those who love RSs have their own preferences re tail length and shoulder style but I am just completely foxed by all that and don't think it matters terribly). Oh a heavily padded RS won't fold down in your bag as well, obviously. Some people love the padding and some hate it. I'm helpful aren't I?

So what's everyone else up to today? What's on your busy schedule, Tigga?

Boff, I too would like to see the pic of the first class BA pjs

Am I the only one that quite likes the bold? Admittedly, last pregnancy has made me a lot more shortsighted and my glasses are toddler-scratched so in desperate need of an optician.
