I hope that this will do you all as the last thread ran out.

Let the fun and chocolate eating commence...

Darn, I tried to post on the last thread but you beat me to it Swali! Would love to see a pic of the sling, Swali - can you post on your profile or email it to me?

WhatFreshHellIsThis Wed 16-Sep-09 14:33:27

Why are we still bold?

Swaliswan Wed 16-Sep-09 14:35:01

No idea, maybe we're very special or maybe MN is finally recognising our prolific posting status?

I feel really nervous that no-one is going to come over to this thread now. How stupid is that?!

I can e-mail you pics WFH. No idea how to get them on this thread but I still have the e-mails from Lucy with pics on.

I'm here.

<<holds Swali's hand>>

don't worry, they'll find us when they need us.

WhatFreshHellIsThis Wed 16-Sep-09 14:38:41

I've emailed you so you've got my email address now.

Can you let me know how much you would want for it, too?

I feel bad buying it if you might regret it though sad

Swaliswan Wed 16-Sep-09 14:48:09

E-mailed back (twice as I was a numpty and forgot the attachment blush).

Juwesm, I will post that dress out when the postal strike is a bit less extreme ... when is the deadline?

Swaliswan Wed 16-Sep-09 14:55:21

Woohoo! We have company WFH!

Ooooooooooo, been meaning to ask what you lot think about my weaning plans. B is 21 weeks old at the mo. I was wondering about offering her some finger foods at about 24 weeks and seeing how things go for a couple of weeks then reassessing if need be.

I'm off to start preparing tea. I expect there to be more April Mummy's on here when I come back!

Auld, I haven't called a teacher/tutor by their surname since I was 16 and I've done a LOT of courses.

dawntigga Wed 16-Sep-09 15:09:43

Baby yoga was a LOT of fun today.

Yet again it's not something I can tell Robin the cost of but it is fun

Guimauve Wed 16-Sep-09 15:32:11

I'm here!

da Boff - deadline is beginning Dec so plenty time grin

Auld - perhaps less formal due to nature of the medium?
At college my English teacher allowed us (IB students) to call her by first name (only 3 of us. so small, informal classes) but A-level students had to call her Mrs D.

Frekkles, don't feel too downhearted. Wee H (my wee H that is!) is all ribs and spine too. It is probably just a blip. Plus inherent inaccuracies in weighing etc....

The last page of old thread was normal, not bold. Someone start a thread in site stuff?

WhatFreshHellIsThis Wed 16-Sep-09 15:40:53

There's already a thread on it in Site Stuff - seems Tech is onto it.

mrsgboring Wed 16-Sep-09 15:45:57

i'm here but having a nightmare day with e why wont he just sleep? or feed?

WhatFreshHellIsThis Wed 16-Sep-09 15:46:55

oh poor you - teeth? Orbit is still teething and won't feed properly, or sleep properly. Calpol/Calprofen has just bought me a sleep and a good feed and he's so much happier.

bronze Wed 16-Sep-09 16:11:41

I'm here... sort of. Just marking my place

AuldAlliance Wed 16-Sep-09 16:37:20

me too

FrogmellaMoonbeam Wed 16-Sep-09 16:40:30

Im here!

I have a toddler feeling very sorry for himself as he flipped a caravan step over on his foot last night and has now got a lovely bruise at the bottom of his big toe nail and he is currently growing 3-4 teeth as well so hes not happy and Violet is just a scream machine at the minute. Today is a good day I have only threatened to launch her ouut the window once!

PuzzleRocks Wed 16-Sep-09 17:57:41

Aargh, the friggin bold is giving me a headache.

mrsgboring Thu 17-Sep-09 09:19:08

Having a better day thank goodness. E is asleep in his carseat shock so I am running up and down between computer, chores and checking he hasn't died - at least I might lose some of my humungousness that way.

Sorry to hear about your toddler's bruise, Frogmella.

Thanks WFH for the suggestion - he was already Calpolled up to the eyeballs and still screaming. I think you're right that teething was part of it - he's also got a cold and probably still post op pain too sad. In desperation yesterday I got a rice cake out of the cupboard and helped E gum it - he kind of gagged on it and kind of liked it and some of it seemed to go down so hurrah. Didn't stop the crying but hey ho.

Re slings, I don't know that much about ring slings. Pretty much any fabric seems to work well so it's down to personal preference. Silk ones or other slippy material are a bit harder to deal with (those who love RSs have their own preferences re tail length and shoulder style but I am just completely foxed by all that and don't think it matters terribly). Oh a heavily padded RS won't fold down in your bag as well, obviously. Some people love the padding and some hate it. I'm helpful aren't I?

So what's everyone else up to today? What's on your busy schedule, Tigga?

Boff, I too would like to see the pic of the first class BA pjs grin

Am I the only one that quite likes the bold? Admittedly, last pregnancy has made me a lot more shortsighted and my glasses are toddler-scratched so in desperate need of an optician.
