no, unfortunatly i couldn't see the screen! DS came with me and behaved wonderfully. Because I use the pushchair so infrequently i think its a novelty whenever i do use it. and the nurse helped by playing peekaboo with him
as for results...drum roll please... i have a torn rectum
DP's keeping his distance from me tonight...to get the camera in they pumped me full of gas...i'll leave the rest to your imagination

i'm feeling alot happier now. i had the book club today and a smelly trampy looking man has decided to join us. all the old ladies were openly disgusted by him. i'll be surprised if he shows up next month! i think he came because he wanted an argument. he tried to argue with me about what DS's name meant..muppet! oh and when i asked him what his name was for the register, he told me "Jonathan". Now, i always have particular problem spelling this so i asked him if it was "John.." or "Jon.." and he said he wasn't sure. Hmmm something suspicious occuring! DP reckons he can't write. I'm assuming he can read otherwise he's joined the wrong club so surely if he can read, he can write, no?

oh, i haven't got to people's messages yet and i can hear DS stirring...back in a min or two or sixty!

Miamla · 16/06/2009 22:23

DS's stirring was only a snuffle so as you were ladies!

VG if i make the roundup with that particular post i'll know who to blame!

Thanks for your kind wishes andthebifter I'm sure it will be fine, just a bit apprehensive as I have no real idea what this new job will entail I know facebook is not allowed on work computers but mn is ok (as long as your boss doesn't realise ) so I'm sure I'll find some time to pop on and say hi.

Alarm set for 6.20, although I have no doubt DD will be awake by then anyway, better go up to bed now. Night-night.

Oh p.s. I haven't done DS' trust fund either, feck

A torn rectum? Ye gods, that sounds terrible I have intermittently suffered with an anal fissure over the years (sorry for TMI) and it is so painful, so I really feel for you and your ravaged nether regions.

Please tell us there is repairable hope on the horizon!

these 2 threads could get confusing!

Okay day today - DD very sweet but threw up her dinner again. DH being very me me me me me and very spoilt only child like. I am not talking to him as everything is him first, we went for coffee and were invited out to dinner but we couldn't go as he was on diet and not eating out, dinner was his diet appropriate meal, I asked him to watch DD whilst I had a moment to myself (hanging out washing) but he was going to work out and he would spend time with her later. When he did watch DD he sat her on his lap and wathced rugby so she got pissy and I ended up taking her to sit on the grass whilst I did the washing I cannot be fagged to cook 2 or 3 meals at dinner because he won't eat what I make. DD will eat what I make for me but lettuce is a bit hard for her. OKAY whinge over!

Miamla - so what are they going to do with your bottom?

I'm off to bed to read. back in the morning.

DD's shoes are only worn outside as she wants to cruise/hold hands and walk every where and as much as I would prefer bare feet the cr*p on our pavements is not worth taking the risk on.

oops surely if he's that set on dieting, he can make his own fucking tea?

you have it in one Cyteen - it's his slightly obsessive tendancies coming to the fore - I know he can be obsessive about things but this taking it too far!

Maybe it's time to practise some Husband-Led Weaning then - just give him whatever you're having, it may be your job to provide a healthy tasty meal but it's not your job to make them eat it

nope, not from labour, its from when i broke my back (and the horrible meds they gave me). Now apparently it can heal itself soo, i've been prescribed some cream to relax my sphincter and i'm on two sachets of fybogel a day to help things on their way.

Now, honestly, who wishes they hadn't asked?

re how long.. i've got another checkup in 8 weeks but she reckons i should see an improvement in 2 weeks

the ridiculous thing is that one of the side effects of the cream is severe dizziness. i'm already feeling dizzy so doc's cunning solution was to apply it just before going to bed and then that way i'd be dizzy in my sleep. i politely pointed out that to get to my son's room up to ten times a night that i had to walk past the top of the stairs. Feeling dizzy and tired and walking in the dark past the stairs is really not a good combo! she agreed and i'm now going to be applying it in the morning instead!
