Hello gorgeous ladies

Had lots of fun in the sun today 3 hours at the lido!!

Luce, sorry you didn't get the exact call you wanted and hope you hear more next week as advised to you. Must be v frustrating.

Oooggs, lovely photo of L. He is a sweetie.

SPB, you will be just fine my lovely. Number 2 is a breeze as you know what you are doing by then !!

Hi Elkie and Caz.

Dooby, how much longer until af day!!! The suspense is killing me

Hope everyone else is ok and not too sunburnt.

Had a lovely day with the girls today. Spent the morning at home in the garden which was just fine and then 3 hours at the lido. A school friend of B's happened to be there which was great, as she went off and played with her for 2 hours!

Off to London tomorrow, and really looking forward to the break. Dh has been working every evening this week (at home) and worked until 12.30 last night which is just nuts. So, will be good to spend time with him. He is off on Sunday night for 3 nights with work which I am not looking forward to.

Anyway, need my bed as am shattered. May not be on tomorrow, so if not, see you lovely bunch on Sunday evening. xx

we're having a barbecue with DH's cousins!
They couldn't make it for one reason or another to T's birthday so it will be lovely to see them.
Sent DH to get apple and raspberry J20 - he came back with Bacardi Breezer! Clue is in the name DH Even worse - it was watermelon flavour

But, J and W are having their first sleepover guest My aunties little girl, technically my cousin, (but I get called aunty)who is 6 mths older than J. They've had great fun this afternoon in the glorious sunshine, noe tucked up in bed, which is where I'm heading.

Has been a busy half-term and I haven't had the time to post this week It has been fun though; just wish the weather could've been a bit nicer Oh well, lovely and sunny now (Love the thread title ) Plus there has been Britain's Got Talent to watch every evening!! Yey - Diversity!!

Blah blah blah ..... I would very much like a holiday ... sans children ......

Your area must have its own climate Dippy Has been lovely weather most of the week here and mostly everywhere else I think!
There's some potential news...but I'll let Dooby fill you in when she gets back.
Glad you had a good half term - any chance of that holiday, even if it's just a weekend?

Hi all

Sorry your weather has been worse than anywhere else Dippy - it was horrible here on Wednesday and extraordinarily varied on Tuesday - otherwise it was much too hot for my liking.

We went to visit a friend and her ds whom I met at Jolly Babies with Danny (in 2007) for lunch - it's funny to realise how much they've grown.

Only had a few hours kip, because W kept waking again last night. Managed to wake my little cousin up too, who thought she was having a nightmare. How the hell can he stay awake, when he only slept for 15mins in the car yesterday? At one point in the night the only person asleep was J He can sleep through anything, lucky thing

We're trying W in a full sized bed tonight, so will see how that goes. There is no pattern to the time he wakes up. Doesn't seem to amake any difference how long he has slept during the day (on Thursday he had a nap for an hour and 20 mins, but slept from 8.30pm, til 7am, without waking. And he was sleeping at my mums)

Lack of sleep is def taking it's toll, esp on me and dh

Lets see what tonight brings x

Dooby, glad to hear you have an interview but have to confess I can't remember what you've posted about it already - what's the job? Very good luck.

Runny, D woke up crying in the night and dp was in there for a couple of hours with him. Then he got up for good at 6.20 - that's at the later end of his getting up time at the moment. It's been fairly grim after a few months of him often sleeping past 7 am. C is much easier, when he does wake up I can stay in bed and feed him.

Fantastic news, Luce - congratulations!

Hi ThreadPA, sounds like everything is pretty hectic with you. Hope the boys perk up soon.

It is steaming hot here, 28 degrees in our garden this afternoon. I really felt sorry for all the full marathon runners yesterday - 5 miles in the heat was enough for me. Had a few well deserved cold beers after it all.

hello PA

I am a car hit my parked car in the carpark last wednesday, dh was in there feeding Luke and saw felt the whole thing.

We have been to the police as there is damage to my car. The police rang the registered keeper (a woman) her daughter was driving, who told the police that we were just to contact them etc...

DH has just rung and a man has refused all knowledge, won't give insurance details etc... glad dh rang, I would have lost it

Now have all this to sort out silly cow

Dooby, any news???

All ok here. Had a great time in London on Saturday. We stayed in a gorgeous hotel in Wimbledon. So nice to wonder about just me and dh. Went to a bar and had Pimms and nibbles, and then had dinner at Wagamama's and then on to my friend's 40th party, which was really good.

Came back for lunch yesterday and then dh went off just before the girls went to bed last night and is back on Wednesday. Luckily the girls have been really good for me.

Anyway, hope everyone is ok. Dinner ready, so see you later. xx
