Expectant DC#2 YOU GO GIRL!! Oops will get there first but it's nice she'll have company.

Sazzles sorry about dd1's face. Please please put her on prohibotics while she's taking the antibotics.

Sambo don't be . I'm in over my head now. Your remodel idea is EXACTLY what we had planned but sometimes those long term plans look too far away and we had the money to make the short term work...thus the mess at present. And on the co-sleep last night....our dcs must have been texting because my dd1 had the same issue.

VG I've reread my post the day Reese arrived several times. I go through every emotion under the sun. LOVELY PIC by the way.

Pertelote {{{HUGS}}} as if you don't have enough to worry over. Weaning is such crazy territory so I'm with you and the how does it all work bit. I have a weaning style quite like Dizzy at the moment...no solids yesterday but a bit of pear-blueberry-oatmeal today.

Buckets I am totally of your cool movie outing. My dd1 would do perfectly there!!!

No1 I'm glad Marcus enjoyed his BMFEAST.

Oops BABY YOGA !!!!

Captain & Poppy I think both those weigh ins were good.

Hi Ataraxis!!

WHACK day here today. My sleep issues have totally taken their toll on me. I'm so tired I feel that it feels like I have the flu.

Granite is now nicely installed. WOW! What a difference. It could dress up a slum kitchen. I am very impressed.

I am not however impressed with the flooring I selected for the kitchen. I picked it up after the counters were installed and went no. The carpet guy agreed. Sent DH to return it when he got home....because I was too embarrassed to return it myself. I really have grown to HATE the store I bought it from and after the hassle DH went through to return he feels the same way.

That means back to the drawing board on the kitchen flooring.

Selected masterbedroom carpet this evening. I went with what DH really wanted which was what the carpet dude thought would look the best. DH has been correct on several other choices so I'll step aside and go with him. He doesn't know yet. I figure I'll let it be a surprise.

Figured out what might have been making DD1 mean as a hornet over the past few weeks. Found TWO new chompers in her mouth this morning. I guess they are the 5 year molars. Looks to me like the both cracked the same day. No wonder she's been testy.

Reese had a little more real food night but I still think I should be offering it more often. Just doesn't fit into my schedule at the present moment. Bottles do.

Unless something wild and crazy takes place this week there will be NO MORE Surferbabies. SNIP SNIP is FRIDAY!!! I have a sense of CALM about it. Feels nice to be looking beyond the baby making years at the WHATs NEXT years.

night

Morning all!

Sorry to miss all the chat yesterday, got caught up in real life . Had my sister over plus three friends and their six children so with my two as well it was quite a houseful! Think we ate our own bodyweight in sausages and butterfly buns and the carpet was a fecking disgrace after they'd finished but a lovely time was had by all . We even managed to play outside for a while, after the freezing conditions of the last few weeks there is a definite feel of Spring in the air, hurrah!

DS yelping, better go, but will be back in a bit re HotPot

Morning!

ts, have you thought about Karndene flooring? Don't know if it is readily available in the US, but loads of it is lovely.

DS1 says Hi and gives you a and lastly just because he likes red.

On that note... see you soon (I hope)

TS Get him some new tightie whiteys before the op as a present.

Sazzles Good luck, I had no joy from GP or developmental paediatrician getting a referral for DS1 despite lifelong chronic diarrhoea and eczema from about 18m, both of which are classic symptoms of cow's milk intolerance which itself is v common with autism. I just didn't want to bugger about with elimination diets completely blind - who would? DS thought the pinpricking was funny but was a bit tricky getting enough blood in the right place!

Speaking of poo, I changed my first solid pooey nappy in 4yrs this morning, basically since DD was in nappies (she was dry at 24m!) Thank you Kurt and your lovely normal normal NORMAL bowels, guess some of that BLW is going in after all.

morning all

ts lovely new thread, thanks! Granite worktops - yum!

hi ataraxis was just thinking yesterday we'd not heard from you for a while, hope all's well

sazzles glad you had a restful night. I think probiotics keep friendly bacteria levels up in the gut because antibiotics kill the bad and the good - they are in those tiny yogurt drinks they advertise on tv.

buckets keep that brilliant thread title in mind, we'll need it in about 2 days

hotpot I also got a feeling spring was in the air yesterday, I cant wait for some warmer weather

we actually had a ok night last night Ds only up at midnight and 3.45am to feed. Wonderful!

Sambo well done on a good night's sleep . DS was up every hour from midnight onwards honestly I don't know what I'm doing wrong, the night before his first wake-up was at 3.30am. It might have been due to all the excitement yesterday actually, he doesn't feed too well when the house is full of other children, he's too nosey. Although he did enjoy a few blueberries, not fresh from the box like a proper mummy would give, rather picked out of a muffin

Buckets congratulations on the solid poo . My nephew has autism and he has a lot of trouble with his poo too. He's on a dairy and gluten-free diet which is very hard work for SIL, especially as she's a veggie and has had to learn to cook meat for him. It seems to be doing the trick though. I really hope you get your DS sorted just without dairy

Sazzles I really hope you get somewhere with DD's rash and hope she feels better now her teeth are appearing. We never had a sign of teething from DD, they just all appeared without a whimper, red cheek or anything . I think DS is made from different stuff though...

Don't you realise Sambo and VG that I am a Yorkshire lass and hotpot is from Lancashire

Off shoe shopping for DD today. Hope everyone else hasn't had the same idea

Hope everyone is good nd got some sleep last night. We got 7 - 10.30 the 10.30 to 5 then 5 - 8 so not too bad.

We are off for a walk in a bit and then onto the town Pancake Day pancake races. Yummy .

Buckets LOL at your happiness at poo.

I am now waiting for a the man who seems to be randomly wondering around our garden to DO SOME WORK!! I asked him an hour ago to put my washingline spike in the ground so I can get some washing outside - he said 'righto, I'll get right onto it' and dissapeared! I would do it myself but I wrecked the last one .

DD napping on me, she had her first porridge today - rice porridge (not babyrice but flaked rice cooked with ricemilk and grated pear!) she loved it. Last night she had a bit of my broccoli and it came out in her nappy whole .

Morning everyone!
Ok-ish night here. Little man down at midnight then woke at 4.30 and has yet to wake. So the eternal dilemma rears its head - do I wake him, or just leave him?

Buckets fab poo dance there!
Ooh, am staaaaarving, so going to grab a bite while I can.
