oooh how exciting congratulations Elkie. at 10lbs!

Hello everyone else

We still have a lot of snow here, we've just been out and built a snowman. Jake's school not closed, but I decided not to brave it up the slope out of our street after I'd seen cars slip back down

Hope everyone ok xx

Fab news Elkie. Many congratulations to you all! xx

10 pounds = ouch

All ok here, but very snowy and B's school shut today, so no work for me! K's nursery still open, so I have taken her in. She was not a happy bunny and cried She is starting to become a real feisty monster!

Hope everyone is wrapped up warm. xx

Poor Elkie - up all night then a crash section - I wonder if they had to do a GA? Hope you are doing better now anyway Elkie - sounds like it from your last text. Now - who here has had a c section and can weigh in with advice? Ange did you have one with ds1?

Congratulations Elkie and family. Well done, sounded like that was all very hard work. Hope the BFing goes really well for you this time.

Tonnes of snow here, still coming down. Girls off school, roads horrific, great sledging though. Think there might be a couple of pics attached if I've worked out new MN.

Hope all is good with you all

Hi IDOC

Bloody washing machine not spinning, and I have a dodgy tummy - grrrrrr. No time for either of these things!!

Report
geordieminx · 03/02/2009 13:17

I had c/s with C, although as I am stupid wonderwoman I was out after 24 hours and in Starbucs the next day!

No real advice, just take it easy, arnica tablets to help with healing. bf will hurt as the uterus contracts back and sits against the scar.

If anyone else has any advice on getting rid of the c/s overhang I would be grateful - I still have mine

IDOCpopsin · 03/02/2009 13:19

There is no way of getting rid of the overhang GM - I've got one and haven't even had a CS . Liposuction?

Hi SOL. Bloody washing machine. Bah!

Congratulations Elkie! Sounds like you had a tough time of it, but really glad you are both ok xx

Just started snowing here again now. We had quite a lot earlier and made a snowman, then the sun came out and lots melted away really quickly and now its back to snow. Weird day!

Congratulations elkie and family
That must have been so scary but glad you're both ok. Has D met his baby brother yet?
I knew it ould all happen while I was at work - was meant to have the day off because of the snow but it wasn't that bad
Hang on - maybe it's not all about me?

Congratulations to Elkie, dp and big brother D.
Glad she sounds so well after emergency cs.

The snow has gone here.

DH has come home from work with vomiting and diahorrea. So I suppose I can safely assume I've got a bug and that m sickness has not resumed. Not sure how much use we'll be to G this evening. Hopefully he'll be in a low maintainence mood.

Off to buy immodium for dh before I pick the boy up.
