Teachers were going home laden down with presents from our school; we didn't send anything cos I never got organised and I now feel a bit

but, we are going to make some muffins for the staff room for the first day back to galvanise them for the year ahead and do our thank you cards then. That way our gift will be remembered . Thanks MN for that tip

yay for front tooth pop!

Someone was concerned (ages ago) about LO's lack of teeth being down to their lack of some vitamin or something. But I was reading about baby teeth and it said it doesn't work like that, the teeth just come when they are ready.

yay for DS2's tooth. It will quickly become a weapon of mass destruction!

I have just bought some nappies really cheaply on usednappies (8 barely used tots bots for £24). I'm going to sell them on and hopefully make a profit. Have got my eye on some more on ebay as well; a new tots kit it's only got a few hours left and is at £65.

I am lurking round nearly finished auctions hoping to make a killing.

OK, jamlet has been asleep 2 hours now. She's therefore not had her tea (normallt about 4.45) and this is normally the time she'd be having her milk and starting to wind down for bed. She's asleep on me btw. I'm assuming this is a reaction to her jab. Should I wake her and see if she wants tea?

crossing them for you jammy.....DD doesn't like going to bed at all if she has had a late nap. She slept for three hours today so I'm not holding out much hope.

Hello all

Blimey my DD would be hyper having 2 hours sleep at that time of day....jab or no jab

Does everyone's LOs still have 2 naps a day? My DD has morning and lunchtime nap - between 2-4 hours a day in total and bed at 6.30pm.....she is showing no sign of dropping a nap....when can I expect this?

Report
LackaDAISYcal · 22/07/2008 19:26

Dd just has one nap a day...usually right over lunchtime for two or three hours.

I'm not sure hoe she'll be going down having slept so late, but as she doesn't seem to want to play or do anything, it seems to be the thing to try.

JammyQueenOfTheSewers · 22/07/2008 19:31

She normally has 30-45 mins early morning, maybe 30 mins just before or after lunch and an afternoon nap of around 45 mins

LittleMissNorty · 22/07/2008 19:33

DD is yawning her head off 2 hours after getting up....and a right misery-guts as well ....she appears to have inherited my ability to sleep...let's hope the next one does as well

How was the BF picnic Daisy?

DD was a bit sleepy after her first booster as well jammy, so she may well just be ready for bed. I'd give her some pre-emptive calpol as well

3 naps might sound a lot, but one of them is often finished by 8 oclock
