The thread title is for the January babies who have become/are soon to be big brothers and sisters

Can't remember all from last thread except
Wilie congrats on the move and hope visit to vino goes broodily well
eandh - potty?!! Aleady?!! I'm only just getting there with ds1!!
DH - I went to a wedding on due date with ds1, but that was because I wanted him out. Alas, despite energetic ceilidhing, to no avail! Also went to Halifax for a wedding when about 38 weeks with ds2 (on Loosh's ds's bday in fact!), was a little nervous in case I went into labour so far from home, but didn't exactly expect to go early (just as well, eh?). But I guess is different if you're going for a c/s

Ah. ds2 has just demonstrated he has learnt a new word... "whoops". Do I investigate, or just steer Well clear

Good thread title!!

Zac has gone on dirty protest today - think we are doing elimination communication whether we want to or not! God I wish we had laminate/lino.....gross!!

UD - do you mean he is nappy free?

My poor baby.
Yesterday he walked into the corner of a side table and has a small cut/graze on the side of his eye. Today at nursery, some other child grabbed hold of his cheek and dug their nails in so he now has a load of nail scrape marks around the same eye. I had to sign an incident report form.

What did pinkmilkcouk put and who is she?!?!?! Intriguing

Well, I am happy to report that baby Vino is absolutely BOOOTIFUL. Vino looks really well and DD1 is gorgeous too - J kept trying to kiss her!! I have to say though, it didn't make me broody, more terrified of having No2!! Ha ha although I want Vino's birth!

Vino's t'internet isn't working properly hence lack of posts.

I am sooooo bored today and it is gorgeous weather but I am stuck in the shop . Only a week on Monday to go till I start the new job though. Eek!

I reported pink milk - was a company advertising crap!

Third off nappies at Sainsburys at the moment! Pampers & Huggies. Bargainous!

(do you think, that now I posted that they will follow me and put a discount code up too?) - like Pink Milk did.
Very weird. I have no idea how she tracked me down from posting a link to the site. Odd.

Off to a tribute Dolly Parton night on the bandstand on the sea front this evening. How ironic am I!! x

Lizzzombie linked to a product on our site, so I posted a discount code (we can see where all hits come from) for anyone to use who liked the link posted by a member.

We were not advertising anything, but if posting discount codes is breaking the rules here, then we broke the rues for sure. I though I was doing people a favour but I understand if this conflicts with contracts Mumsnet may hold with advertisers and sponsors. Apologies to anyone offended by such a thing.

I was definitely not 'advertising crap' however, wonderwomanakaeandh!

apologies pinkmilk - was having a busy day at work and then had phone call to say dd1 not well (whoops sorry )

Only reason I reported it was that some companies 'spam' across the boards and its annoying

Lizz - you have a cyber stalker now he he dolly parton night sounds great

E has a gunky ear, MIL said she was fine she sneezed started crying/screaming and then loads of gunk came out of her ear, she refused to have any calpol/nurofen, I got there and she finally had some she fell asleep before 6 no temperature or anything so am hoping she just had a blocked ear and the sneezing released the blockage and maybe the pressure was making it hurt (and they are meant to be staying at IL's tomorrow night so we can go out for our anniversary will have to see how she is tomorrow)

Morning all!

LTH - did you get my txt yesterday? i think my dh is angling for your dh to get him to take him out kayaking!

Feeling vaguely human again after a lie in at IL's. MIL says she will take me to Debenhams clothes shopping! I'm sure ds will come out of it better though.

EAH - do you get Eliie's ears syringed? Sounds like she might have glue ear - ii had it when i was pg and it was horrible!

Afternoon

Ellie up 4 times in night being sick (after water/calpol) went to out of hours Drs and she has tonsilitis and ear infection (sickness probably a result of temperature) gave her ab's, took 1st lot at pharmacy and she threw them up in car on way home shes slept most of the afternoon, my Mum and Dad came round at 2pm and she really cheered up and Dad got her to have ab's again and get her to have an ice lolly and some bread and butter and so far kept those down and seems a little less whiney

Does mean our night out cancelled as don't think IL's would appreciate having her (my parents said they would come down and stay here whilst we went out or if she wanted to to she could styay there) but decided to stay home and get takeaway tonight and hopefully IL's hcan have them in 2 weeks time (shame as I budgeted enough money that we could have gone to chinese buffet place and cinema tonight )

Well - guess what monumentous thing happened today?

Not the shopping trip. Not the Dr Who season finale. Oooohhhhhh no.

After 18 months (to the day) of breastfeeding, I have got mastitis. How is that even fair? I am tucked up in bed with a cold flannel on my boob feeling like utter shite.

FFS.

I am sooooooooo hungover (still) from last night.
If anyone gets the chance to ever see a tribute person (called Sarah Jayne) do Dolly Parton - GO! She was wonderfully fabulous, and that is not the 5 pints of beer talking!

UD - you poor thing, mastitius is the devils infection. I feel your pain x
