Hi from Seth's mummy! I was one of the 2005 posters (then mummydreamer) and thought I'd say a quick hello. I lurk a lot these days but can sometimes be found on the SN boards. As I type, Seth is currently still awake and convinced it's time for nursery soon.....I suspect we are in for a long night!

Well if your dh has any success let me know. I made the mistake of changing ds's routine very slightly this evening so now I am paying the price! The joys of Autism eh?

he beeing a royal pain in the arse today. we arranged for him to pick up fran at 3, ten past no show so i phoned him. he was still at his dads his pathetic excuse???????

i thought you'd changed your mind

serioulsy.

he then didn't turn up til nearly twnty past. then he sent me a text saying that "i own't be ebale to have fran on 29th as i am going out and will rearrange". excuse me? he wouldn't answer phone then gets his dad to answer and when i tell him that if mark can send me snotty messages then he can answer the phone like a man. his dad hung up. then i try him again. the ophone rings and rings. so i phone xp and say that it wasn't the 29th, you are due to see her on the 27th-28th. so the next thing i know he sends me another text saying that i tmust be the 28th. this is becasuse my bro is coming to visit and as fran was at her dads we'd arranged ot go out. now we can't. it isn't very often i see my brother anyway and now xp f'in it up.

i try and phone back and no answer again. so i leave a message on his answer phone saying that he stopping me from speaking to my daughter. i try to phone fran again and guess what? she answers.

the next thing i know he sends another text saying that he glad he going to mediation cos he gets his say and will tell them everything. er no you won't cos that initial appt is them telling you how mediiation works. best laugh i had all day.

Hello,
Just saw this thread on the active conversations and couldn't ignore it. I was on the orginal thread all those years ago (was leggymamba then).

DS1 is Patrick and is three on Tuesday. He's a bit of an energy bomb and have to take him outside lots or he explodes! He's grown up in lots of ways (although think he'll be in nappies until his 20s!).

Haven't had a chance to catch up - hope everyone else is doing well. Off to do the dreaded bedtime routine~!

Hi Ladies,

May I please join you!? I have lurked in the past but never have posted before.
Joey was 3 on the 15th April.

Loler, I think he'll be joining Patrick wearing nappies til he's 20. He just won't admit he's done a poo! Or a wee... He has moments of regression to babyhood I think, his little sister is 21 months, and is on the way to being trained. I started training her to see if he would copy her, and she's making some progress at least, but he's still in denial!!

AprilMeadow, I bow down to you having 25 kids over for the party. How did it go? Hope he had a great day!

Fransmom, sorry to hear about your ex-p trouble. Happy birthday to Fran for tomorrow, hope ye have a great party!

Right well I best say no more for a while, I tend to blabber on for hours...

Annie

Hi Fransmom! Happy birthday to Fran for Saturday, did you manage to get the apricot glaze?

We just had a bbq for Joey's on the Sunday before. Just a few of our friends, and two other mums with kids. It was nice, Joey was happy just to play with his pressies and get his chocolate cake. He had to blow out the candles about 10 times!

i cheated thought creatively

i went to morrison's the night before and bouthg loads too much food for the people that did turn up and now it is sitting in my fridge nad haven't a clue what to do with it, too much for me and dd to eat on our own (am LP)
i digress.... i saw a cake there with night garden on it but i was only 7" across and £8 plus!!! so i bought the choc one that was huge and only £6.49!!!

Belated Happy Birthday wishes to Fran. The choc cake would have gotten my vote as well!

Jack had a great time thank you. It was so nice to just turn up, let the kids run riot, have food and then leave without having to tidy up. Jack goes to nursery so has made a fair few friends which is nice, i think all bar 4 were from his nursery.

Hello ladies.

Are your 3 Yr Olds throwing paddys these days? Joey has only recently started (terrible threes instead of terrible twos).
He wants to do EVERYTHING himself, make his juice, butter his toast, cook his pasta... If you put something in front of him that he hasn't helped to prepare, God Help Us All!

Still, DH seems to have turned it around today! (He is SAHD while I MN work) After lunch, he was getting DD to sleep, and Joey wanted to do it! So DH put her in the cot, and off he went, and Joey stayed there telling her stories! I think they're still at it!! Joey keeps coming in to him saying 'She's asleep now Daddy', but goes back in again and again to check...

Long may it last!!

Fransmom, excellent choice, going for the chocolate cake!

AprilMeadow, lucky Jack to have so many friends! And Thank Goodness for Indoor Play Centres.
