Morning all!

Am still depressed. But in an effort to cheer myself up, I have cleaned the bathroom and descaled the kettle this morning.

I am actually I little ashamed to admit I am a clean freak

I was saying to Holly it won't last though, I reckon I am on the slippery slope to squalor and chaos with the little man!

Are you saying my house is chaos and squalor biatch?! If you were you'd be very correct! Hope the cleaning has made you feel better!

You lot are fucking minging! I was just reading the other thread from last night about the worms! EWWWWW!!! I can handle blood, guts, just about vomit, but parasites! NOOOO!!! I am shit scared of the day one of the dcs comes home with worms or nits. I am now itching all over just thinking about it!

righty ho
I have called off the job search. I don't want to go back to software consultancy, 12 hour days, long commutes etc.

I have decided instead to do home visits - check on pets and feed them while owners are away. About £20 per day but I can take the little man with me and it's only an hours work! Pays for the weekly shop!

Really TA, is that what you are going to do? That's great, much more fun. Can you do the photography on the side to bump up the cash?

God, my hair is coming out in clumps now - anyone know when it'll stop?!

I don't really know much about asthma DG, but I think most surgeries do clinics once a week with the nurse. It might be worth him popping along to one of those. I know the NHS do take it very seriously as well. A friend of mine used to have frequent life threatening attacks and he was always proritised and treated well.

Bumper it will stop soon, I promise! You won't go bald! Don't try and hoover it up though, you'll break your hoover (I did)!

That's a really good decision TA. The last thing you want to do is spend every day at work feeling depressed because you hate your job and miss your lo. Even though it is less money surely it is worth it for your sanity.

Morning all

DG - The UK takes asthma more seriously than the US - from my experience looking at the two different markets for the sales of asthma drugs (US prescribe very little asthma medication compared to UK)
If you DH is waking in the night with symptoms - that is a strong sign that he needs to go and be assessed by GP/Asthma nurse and it is likely he will get preventer (steroid) as well as a reliever (ventolin type) inhalers.
I would say that he should always have a reliever with him.
Don't want to scare monger - but people die of asthma attacks! It is to be taken seriously.
My beef is that the inhalers they give out here are total crap - with only approx 8% of drug getting into lung (most gets swallowed) - I could go on and on - but I wont!!!!

Morning all. Not sorry I missed the rest of the worms talk last night. But thanks for talking about asthma, has reminded me to see the nurse as am well overdue to do so.

DD had a really wet and stinky massive poo this morning and is zonked out on my shoulder now from the effort of it all.

Jamantha...is your LO feeding like a mad thing at the moment? Babyboo seems intent of sucking me inside out today. And I can't get anything done for her.

Tomorrow though, I am marching DH to Comet for a dishwasher. Enough is enough!
