Baby sleep - help!!

Hi everyone,

(Sorry this is a long winded one but wanted to explain it properly!)

First time mum here and desperately need some advice.
My little one has bad wind and reflux and as a result, really struggles when lying flat on her back. For her first 6 weeks she’d only sleep on myself or my husband on her front.
She’s now 10 weeks and we’ve managed to get her sleeping in her crib and Moses basket BUT - and this is where I need advice - it literally takes 2 hours to get her to sleep, from putting her in the crib to her falling asleep.
Why does she fight it??
I make sure I wind her properly as she’ll just scream as soon as she’s put down if not. I watch out for the sleep cues and try and make sure I don’t miss the window (although easier said than done when it takes ages to wind her).
I’ll put her down when I’ve seen the yawning and she’s properly winded and for the next 2 hours she’ll kick and thrash about and grizzle and cry. It’s a long process of shushing, stroking, rocking, putting dummy back in, getting out to wind again and putting her back down. I don’t know why she takes so long to fall asleep!!
Obviously by this point she’s not only completely missed the sleep window so is now overtired, but she’s also hungry as it’s nearly feed time again so the screaming begins.
Before I know it it’s 3 hours later, she’s had no nap and is crying her eyes out. Has anyone had this and can offer some advice?

Thanks so much in advance!

I should probably point out that this is generally an issue for daytime napping rather than at night.
And I should also say that I know she’s still young and people will probably tell me to give her cuddles rather than try and get her to sleep in the Moses basket but It’s not always possible and would love to try and sleep myself when she sleeps.
Thanks 😊
