Morning all,

Goodbye to Octo , hope you pop back from time to time.

Lovely to hear from MIAST!

I'm probably be not going to be on much in the next few months as DH is now really getting stuck into his revision which involves him hogging the laptop most of the time. Have been reading lots of books instead .

WO, J is a very non-snuggly baby and seems to like the Ergo sling, he peeps over the side at the same time as chewing the straps, which keeps him happy as he wants to chew 24 hours a day at the moment......

I threatened him with formula yesterday and he must have listened as he was only up feeding once last night - a record. We've been having some marathons lately with 5 or 6 feeds a night so I was starting to get a little weary!!

Hope everyone's well. Will try and lurk to keep up even if I don't have much time to post.

Ellie, how exciting - a date! Fabulous news.

Hope everyone is ok.

All ok here. K currently lying in her boucy chair - yes lying - she manages to shuffle down in it and her car seat so she is practically lying down and then tried to shove her feet in her mouth! V funny.

Going to B's preschool later. They are having a Graduation Party for all those off to big school .... cue tears !

Still haven't packed.

See you later. xx

Morning everyone
Happy anniversary Dippy! (and Mr Dippy)
MIAST, glad to see you, Robyn is lovely and hope James has recovered well
liath pmsl at threatening with formula Hope the better nights are here to stay
We are all fine but really tired as T cried on and off from 7 till 10 last night. Don't know why, whether it was to do with his injections the day before? Anyway he ended up getting really over tired and grouchy. Finally went to sleep at about 10.15, we were knackered!

Oooohhhhhh Ellie, a date. How exciting!! Hope you have a fab time.

WO, how did you go with getting C to take formula in the end? Have been thinking about you since you posted about her not wanting a drop.

I text Oooggs last night as havent seen her here in a while and wanted to make sure she was ok. She is fine and staying with MIL. You all probably remember her saying that but I didnt!! No brain

Lol SOL at the graduation party for 4 year olds! That is so lovely - enjoy!!

Off out for the day today to a lovely park with many many family members. Having a picnic and generally lounging in the sun. Weather today is fantastic! Have a lovely day all, see you later xxxx

Nutty, how do you sterilise and do you need to take anything or do your parents have it?

Report
elkiedee · 24/08/2007 10:44

Well, you'll have to email someone any important news to relay to the rest of us too. Take care.

Aww bless Octo. We'll miss you . Wishing you and your family all the best.

Elkie, I've packed the steriliser. Maybe I've got everything...I'm just paranoid about forgetting something!

Morning!

Ooooh, a date E!! How exciting!

I cried when I read the thread title too .... You'll be missed Octo ... all the best ......Hug. Hug. ......

Mmmmmm, wonder who will be the 1st to get PG again on this thread .... bets anyone!!?

Well it is our 5th Wedding Anniversary and friends are taking all three girls for the afternoon ...... and I AM ILL!!!!!!!!! Bloomin' typical. Felt sick since yesterday late afternoon; finally threw up (sorry tmi) this morning about 7am ish and am now up and down to the loo every five secs, feeling really, really rough. Just so bitterly disappointed. DH & I NEVER get time to ourselves and the one opportunity we get for months and this happens. Sorry - so self-absorbed .... I am very Blessed to have married to such a wonderful man for 5 years and have 3 gorgeous girlies with him .......

Still & though....

oh no CD that's awful
can you change your babysitting so you can have a night out next week?
(Happy anniversary btw)
I feel so sorry for you, I remember it well
How are you coping with the DDs?

Report
elkiedee · 24/08/2007 12:03

CD, that's a terrible shame . Can your friends babysit for you on another night instead when you're feeling better? And please, don't apologise for a self-absorbed post, you're completely justified in feeling sorry for yourself. Didn't we agree a few days ago that such apologies are daft?

Report
CaptainDippy · 24/08/2007 12:11

We did! Sigh. Yes, I am sure we can go out one night next when I am feeling better, but it just isn't the same, iykwim!!? I am more gutted about this PM tbh as DH has the day off work and friends are taking the girls ..... Rah!

Ahem.

How are you today anyway katy, my dear?

I'm fine thanks.
At least if your DH is off this afternoon he'll be able to help while you're feeling awful.
Trying to find a silver lining!
