Help-- what do I do with my son

My son is 1 and has just started walking and is into everything and he has just recently started being very very jelous if I give anybody else any attention he starts crying and shouting and screaming, he also screams and cries if we take anything of him he can't have. I don't know if it is just a phase or if I have done something wrong?

please help.

just a phase, you haven't done anything wrong!
DS is 13.5 months and can throw a wobbly in the blink of an eye
if he is having a major hissy fit, i don't make a fuss about it, but offer something else to distract him

its a natural phase ... he's letting you know he has his own opinions

peronsally I'd just let him cry and scream .. with the odd reassurance 'calm down darling' thrown at him, general ignoring of bad behaviour is usually the right way

the attention thing is just 'you're my mummy'

It's just a phase! dd has just turned one too, and screams if we take something off her (like soil, or a stone she's chewing on)
She's also very clingy, and only wants mama.
I also have a two year old, honestly, it does pass.
You have NOT done anything wrong.

oh and forgot .. when taking something away offer something else instead as a distraction

Thank you for your advice, I'm not naive, but I didn't think being a mum would be so hard I knew it would be hard but nothing prepared me for this,so glad i've found somewhere I can get great advice from.
