People say to me that it's a good job I didn't have a baby with him cos he would have done it anyway, but sometimes i think I would have at least had some company..but then imagine having to give my child to him and her of a weekend. that would have been tough.

JoMa · 05/07/2007 18:18

that's the shit bit
it's why i'm really sad atm
ds1 goes to his dads and it's lovely
i hate having to take ds2 to his dads
i want him out of my life and i can't

OP posts:

anewme · 05/07/2007 18:19

is that not cos it's a bit raw with DS2? does his dad have new girlfriend?

Report
JoMa · 05/07/2007 18:23

no, it's cos i don't like him

i like ds1's dad, sometimes too much

he does have a new gf but i kicked him out so can't blame him!

just a thought, did you know Maveta is in spain? which is why dh wouldn't believe her if she said it was raining!

Hi JoMa, good to see you around and creating a new thread. Sorry that being on your own/having to deal with Joe's dad is so tough. Hi anewme too. Good thread title.

I'm actually over 200 miles from home, at my mum's in Ilkley, and have managed to find a way to sit and type at mum's computer with Danny on my lap, and without the aid of a cushion (addicts will find ways to feed their addiction and I'm an internet addict). We travellled up this morning and arrived early afternoon.

yes, sorry..cheers ellie dont know what we´d do without the thread pa to keep us all straight

Did you see my last post on last thread? 2500 Euros for babies!! But not mine.. maybe the next one.. they didn´t even advertise it was happening, just POOF! One day you have a baby and hey, would you like 2500?? Thank you nicely.. Babies born like a day before it came into effect must be gutted.. well, the parents at least

JoMa · 05/07/2007 18:35

Responses to previous thread, we were warned at antenatal class and I was reminded by the midwife that breastfeeding isn't a reliable method of contraception. I'm formula feeding (not by choice) and expressing a very small amount daily, trying to latch ds on occasionally, and a couple of times my period's looked like starting, but not really.

Since my cycle isn't predictable, have bought contraception as though I do want another one, I will need to go back to work for at least 6 months, and don't plan to do that until around Easter - will then have to give it a go fairly quickly as I'll be rapidly approaching 40.

maveta and whoever else talked about mn ing with baby by her side, I'm so glad not to be only one not to have much of a routine. We do have a second bedroom which is to be baby's but it needs to be cleared out first and that's a mammoth task.

I'm the laziest person ever re housework, but it's hard to do much of it with a baby who doesn't like to be put down. Fortunately, I have an understanding dp.

Looks like people are arriving for tea.

Quick hello.

Haven't caught up on last thread.

I have to admit I've resisted the urge to join you all on MSN as I don't need another internet thing to become addicted to (along with MN and facebook). Also why chat on msn when these are talkboards - why not stay on here?

Been shopping again today, got some bargains in Debenhams sale. George is about as impressed as his dad with shopping. Very grizzly. Spent rest of day washing and trying to get stuff sorted for going away on Saturday.

Hope all are well. Want you all to do reverse rain dance before weekend so I can actually feel like it's my summer holiday!

BTW my mum knows better than to comment on my appearance. It's taken 32 years to train her though! I recall some doozy rows when I went to uni and put on a lot of weight from all that cheap beer.
