Hi JoMa
More imaginative than me - I was trying to think of one earlier but gave up
How are you?

JoMa · 29/06/2007 17:32

just feeling a bit shit about myself. had a lovely time at DaisyMoo's house, came home to an email from Stephen saying he didn't feel it appropriate for me to visit him for several reasons. I've asked him to please return my photos and the picture Matthew did that he has on display in that case (tho i'm guessing the gf has been there so they're probably hidden away anyway).

and then a really spiteful text which said everything i hate about myself, only with someone else saying it, it feels much worse.

He sent you the text??? Well that's not on at all! I thought you were on quite good terms - it sounds as though the new gf is very jealous!
Hi Dippy.

JoMa · 29/06/2007 17:42

he didn't send me the text, that was someone else. it was nasty enough to get me in tears anyway, the email just didn't help matters cos i don't have that many friends as it is, and i thought Stephen was a friend but doesn't feel like it now

Oh Ellie, you poor thing. I'm sure Katy's hit the nail on the head about the new gf being jealous. So she should be - we all think you're lovely!

Report
JoMa · 29/06/2007 17:51

tbh i don't think the new gf even knows i exist, which will be why he doesn't want me to visit.

Who on earth sent the text? What an idiot! Delete their number and forget about them, don't know who they are but you don't need them in your life. You have loads of people who think you're fantastic, including 2 lovely little boys.

nutty I replied to your paypal thread, not sure if I got the right end of the stick

Report
nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 18:31

Thanks Katy, I got it sorted. Basically everything I found related to people not accepting credit card funded paypal but mine's linked to a debit card so was a bit confused. Anyway it's just to do with paying fees...so I just offered an extra 50p to cover the fees.

Am now having problems with nochex!!! I'm obviously overspending

Report
Katy44 · 29/06/2007 18:36

sounds complicated! I'm just getting to grips with basic paypal!

Report
nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 18:39

Yeah me too...I just said that I could pay with paypal then realised funded paypal was different (think that's where it doesn't say £0 in the account) and that's how they wanted paid cos apparently they don't pay fees on it.

Hello,

Sending hugs to everyone who's feeling down and hoping you're feeling better soon. Would echo GMM - the whole business of having more than one dc scares the bejesus out of me - am struggling to manage with one!

GMM, hope your weekend and posh hotel is fab and the tan situation can be rectified, can't wait to hear about it on Monday.

Only have a week and a half left of my parents being here, can't quite believe the three months is nearly up. Has been great and because they've not been staying with us it's felt more like normal life, as opposed to when we go to Aus and stay with them in a whirlwind visit or they stay with us. Made me realise how much I miss them, so am determined to make the most of the time left. And I've only had one fight with my mum which must be a new record!

Thanks for the lovely compliments for Lucy - I think all the April babies are just divine! Can't remember who said (sorry - brain of mush) about their dc refusing to smile for the camera - I think we went through about six batteries to capture one smile and deleted about 20 crying ones!

x

Ellie, I am really sorry to hear you are feeling down. I agree with Katy - bugger 'em - you don't need people like that in your life.

GMM, hope you have a fabulous weekend. Intrigued to know what happened re the tanning incident??

Dh came home with a lovely bunch of flowers for me. I think he got the picture of how I was feeling! The only thing is, he comes home to find B happiy eating an ice cream in front of CBeebies and K playing happily on her playmat! I am sure he must think I make it all up!!! Tbh, he does know what it is like bless him.

Hope everyone is ok. x

SOKL, when I have a bad day with T (rare, I am lucky) DH gets home to find the house in a state (dirty washing all over, bathroom still a mess from T's bath, kitchen still got yesterday's dishes in it), normally T is asleep and I'm on MN! What he doesn't know is that he's just exhausted himself to sleep having screamed all day and refused to be put down
Think they just like to make us look bad
Glad things are better for you. Are you still planning to discuss your 'time off'?

DH usually comes home to everything tidy here...cos I've worked my ass of to keep it tidy. Yet when DH is looking after the baby there is usually a dirty nappy on the floor, I have to climb over changing mat, bottles left all over the place, formula powder all over the worktops .

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:01

that sounds a bit up myself ...what i meant was we're all more efficient than our dh/dp's!

Report
Katy44 · 29/06/2007 20:03

I agree, I am too, on a normal day I do make a bit of an effort to be a Stepford wife
Lol at the dirty nappies though, I have been known to leave nappy bags open on the floor - normally am half asleep though! And usually they're the less offensive ones as the smell would remind me otherwise!

Lol Katy

I set off upstairs last night to go to bed and DH came up just after and forgot to bring Erin!!!

It's a bit like that when we go and see family, packing the car
changing bag - check
handbag - check
coat - check
food my mum has given us, convinced we don't eat - check

OK, ready to go. Wait...baby!
(Still being cuddled by Grandma normally )

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:20

Will have to sneak into DHs email and delete the paypal emails so he doesn't notice I've been spending all his money

Report
nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:22

LOL we came home without Erin's bottles of food one time . Was shitting myself when we got stuck in traffic behind an accident...don't know what I'd have done if she'd woken for a feed.
