Hi, just wanted some advice really, my little bundle of joy was born via an assisted birth 3 weeks ago today weighing a massive 10lb 11, 10days over due. I still have really swollen feet ankles and legs I've tried drink lots of water, walking when I can , not standing for long periods but nothing is making it better my feet swell that much I can't bend my ankles, has anyone else experienced lasting so long? Everything I've read says it should of been gone after a week . The midwife I saw on day 1 said it should take 10days ! Do I need the doctors or is this normal?? Please help I'll do anything!

Mine didn't last so long but you have my sympathies.. it was so sore and I just wasn't expecting it!
I was told to elevate my feet and legs when lying down.. it wasn't until I went home and had good sleep in my own bed(after a week) that mine literally went down overnight... hope yours goes down soon xxx

How are you now OP? I'm only a week in but mine are massive too with no sign of going down. Don't suppose the heating is helping

I had edema from 34w. Bloody painful and legs and feet swelled hugely

Couldn't even fit into my maternity leggings as cut off the circulation in my legs as so much fluid

Took a good 3w to get to normal
