Thanks for the new thread Sara, first moan of it, DS's new uniform has just cost me over £100 it isn't even 9 o'clock yet and DH's bank balance has taken even more of a beating! How can they charge that much for things that every kid needs???

Just looking at the list, don't we all have lovely taste when it comes to naming the kids? I don't think there is one name on there that I don't like!

well dd is a bit better this morning, no signs of a temp but still a horrible whingy child, we'r not going anywhere today, i have no energy. keiran was up at 12 and 3 eating, dd was up crying at 1 and 5. and then we started the day at 7, im knackered!

stace, poor thing! and you can bet your 2 won't agree to a nap at the same time!

it was yesterday charlee was getting harry's results wasn't it? i have everything crossed for her (so if you could let us know soon charlee, it's starting to hurt )

Stacey, I know how you feel, I got into bed at 10.30, 11.30 George was up for his last feed, so I fed him and changed his bum, got back into about 12.15, 12.32 DS1 woke up coughing, so I did his puffer and gave him some more cough med, got back into bed about 12.50, 1.30 George was up for a feed again, so I fed and changed him got back into bed about 2.15 DS1 was coughing but was asleep so I tried to ignore him and couldn't so I got back up and did his puffer again, got him a drink got back to bed about 2.45, just in time for George to wake up at 3.30, so I fed and changed him again, got into bed about 4.15 and managed to stay there till 6 when George woke up again. DH got up at 6 and asked how George had been so I said he was up at 11.30, 1.30 and 3.30 and he said "so not too bad then" .... I called him a very colourful name and told him he could see to DS1 tonight

I think he has hit the 12 week growth spurt, problem being he spends all day asleep and all night awake catching up on feeds. I suppose I should count myself lucky that the last 6 weeks I have been getting a good nights sleep most nights and not moan when he is awake!

Sara it is 5 pairs of trousers, 5 sweatshirts, 6 polo shirts and a pair of shoes, and it is only Adams, if it had have been M&S (which I normally do but they didn't have the right colour trousers in his size) it would have easily been £150, so yes start saving now...

And, it is the third lot of uniform I have brought since September! He went through all the knees on his first lot of trousers playing football, and the second lot he has grown out of, so this is his third lot!

And don't even get me st\arted on the shoes, I have paid nearly £40 each for two pairs of shoes from Clarkes, first lot ruined by the same bloody football and the second lot he has grown out of, even the ones from Adams are £22. GRRRR!

mygirl i never got phoned about jabs, i booked ds's for 9 weeks, 13 weeks and about to ring for his 17 weeks for next week! never once got a reminder!!

got a really cute photos of me and ds from the young mums group, gotta work out how to get it on my comp as i dont have a scanner!

God, they know how to torture people.

When is he back from his obviously very important holiday Charlee? It bloody annoys me that, he must have known he was going on holiday, why did he say he could give you results when he knew he wasn't going to be there? Even if he lied and said the results weren't going to be in until he was back from his holiday, at least you wouldn't have been waiting to hear yesterday and then be messed about.

I think you are doing well to only be sarcastic, I'd have been swearing like a fish wife!

Hi all,

Brill new thread title, sums DS right up!

However, he has just pitched a fit coz he was so tired (no long nap this morning) and wouldn't settle for a sleep now. I have closed the curtains in the bedroom (don't usually do this during the day) to try and get him to sleep a bit longer so we don't have a grump when he wakes up!

Charlee for you - why didn't he mention his b1oody holiday. Hopeless aren't they?

NJ - at cost of school clothes, will start saving now!

That is such a relief! If that is the only piece of good news i ever have i will be happy.

Obviously still upset about Jack but god to find out Harry is ok is a load off my mind.
