I miss my bump

I had my baby last Sunday at 33+4 and I miss being pregnant. My first daughter was born at 28+1 and I felt the same then. I hated seeing pregnant women because I felt so envious. I don't know if it's because both of my pregnancies were cut short or if I'd feel this way anyway. I feel like I'm mourning being pregnant. Is this a normal feeling?

I'm 26+5 and I have already had a cry thinking about how much I'll miss the little one being in my bump. it is such a special time and i loved feeling her move and grow inside. I am really enjoying my pregnancy too and also it could be a separation anxiety of sorts?

I had mine at 35 weeks and felt the same. Everyone said how lucky I was to avoid those last uncomfortable weeks, but I felt sad not to experience it all - even the bad bits. Missed the kicks and hiccups Smile

I miss the kicks and the hiccups and stroking my tummy, but I do not miss the weight, not being able to sleep on my back and struggles to get around. I feel very liberated without mine, plus I have a gorgeous son to look at!

I was 41+2 when I had ds. As much as I was so over being pregnant, I do still miss the kicks....but being able to turn over in bed is bloody amazing. It's all so raw in the beginning, give it time
