I went with Gary's suggestion, as it was quite awesome and indeed factual!

Ta muchly. We have a very mucussy DS tonight. He's in bed but I don't think it will last Hmm . Oh well, at least the washing mountain has been tamed and a few things tidied up. Work tomorrow so it's bed for me...

Anyone got energy for new years' stuff? I don't think much will be happening our end, we're all too knackered flagging post-Xmas. maybe a cheeky glass of Wine but I think that's about all!

We're in the northern wilds and its bloody windy and freezing. Heading southwards on new years day which should be fun Hmm

F's birthday was cool 15 for a party tea but now he's coming down with a lurgy of some sort. Will catch up properly when returned from the dodgy WiFi connection

Boi's bed is comfy, as long as I fold myself correctly. Otherwise it's a broken back for the next 24 hrs.
NYE - we're having our bestfriends over for dinner. We were going to cook something fabulous together, but have since decided that whatever M&S do in a packet will be fabulous enough. :) We'll buy some ready made canapés for early evening, and then do real food after the BOi is in bed.
We 'll probably all go to bed at 00:01. :)

We're going to make a deny in whatever we have of the Christmas tasties, and we'll have gammon on New Year's Day. I'll probably just about manage to see the year in.

Don't know what has gotten into Sky the last few days, very clingy and whiney :( DH is starting to lose his patience with her as no matter what I do she isn't happy!

Oh well!

I think we're going to stay up to watch NYE on tv - I've told DH he will probably need to wake me up as I expect I'll fall asleep on the settee!

DS has been waking up anywhere between 5.00am-6.15am all over Christmas, but this morning he woke up at 7.30am - heaven :) I went to bed early at 9 so managed to get 10.5 hours sleep :)

Thanks for the new thread LMF.

DSM Eva has been clingy lately too, I think hers must be teeth. At first I thought its about the right age for seperation anxiety but its not just be she wants, she wants to be cuddled by anyone who will have her, odd as she isn't normally a cuddly baby at all.

DH is working tonight (the joys of the pub trade!) so it'll be me, my knitting and a box of chocolate fingers.

Morning!

I think we're just going to DP's parents tonight. Will be roasting the biggest ham joint you ever did see and making some sausage rolls together with other party foods today.

Must dash and put the bins out or they won't get collected for a million years!!!

DS has been clingy with DH (for a change), which is nice because it's now easier for DH to look after him in the morning whilst I sleep (oh the joys of early pregnancy!).

DH is working tonight 1700-0700, so DS & I are going over to my best mates for takeaway (& some playstation), so DH can sleep peacefully tomorrow.

LMF, I love your namechange!

I roasted a ham the other day. I knew my dad had done one once in Jack Daniels, and once in Coke. ...so I put it in a Le crueset thing, poured a generous glass of whisky over it ( something cheap ) and then some coke which 'd lost it's fizz (waste ye not the good stuff) and then in the oven with its pan top on for 2 hours. I turned it over half way through. It was the most delicious, moist ham I've ever eaten. The jus (!) - I just added corn flour to it, to make a delicious (but salty) gravy. Gorgeous!

Off to M&S to find tea. (Dinner, that is, not Earl grey) Wink

Marking place!!

DS slept until 7.45 I still feel exhausted have the lurgy and it's wiping me out Sad have a number of options tonight can't be arsed with any of them at the moment really considering staying home on our own and going bed at 10 sleep all through it, even last year with a week old managed to stay up to 12.01!!

Im not a new years resolution kind of a person but am committed to losing weight in. 2013 have spent so much of 2012 worrying about DS weight not bothered about mine so it's back to Zumba next week and want to lose at least 7lbs would prefer 10lbs but will see. Any other resolutions ladies?

gary I'm not missing that stage! Feeling loads of movements now too, based on never making it to 36 weeks with the other two I'm now over halfway there eek!!

What happened to kitty? She became a postie before Christmas, announced she was pregnant then disappeared. Hopefully she's just either still enjoying Christmas celebrations or struggling with early mornings and pregnancy tiredness, hope she's ok.

I'm obviously not trying to lose weight but I want to eat better, and try not to get as stressed with the DCs.

Resolution here is to save more money, pay off more bills and generally get the flat ready to sell! We NEED a bigger house and its really starting to get to me.

Oi, we do coke pork - can of coke, cheap pork joint (usually sainsburys basics) and a bottle of Paul Newmans BBQ sauce. It falls apart - absolutely delicious.

I desperately need a skincare routine. Mine is non existent and it shows. Any recommendations?

No 7 Protect and Perfect is brilliant but a bit pricey, I bought the first lot but now DH buys it for Christmas or my birthday. I use the day cream and the night cream, I just use simple cleanser though when I remember, I don't normally have sensitive skin but the no 7 cleanser and toner didn't agree with my skin.

I'm here!! Still lurking, just finding it difficult to post..

New job going well, but lord I am tired! Ds b'day on the 23rd, then hosting Xmas day might have been a bit much. Have basically slept for 2 days and am now doing Nye dinner for 6, one Muslim, one veggie that eats fish and one who is allergic to everything under the sun. Ho hum.

Have had a bit of bleeding this week but am choosing to ignore it and not panic until next year

DS is walking, playing the taking things out of the correct box and hiding them somewhere else game and saying uh oh every time he throws something on the floor. I love him!! If we could get him to sleep in his own room.......

Hope everyone who lans to stay up and welcome 2013 has a lovely evening, see you all next year Grin

Resolutions:
i will be organised in 2013.
My house and mind will be tidy.

I will lose weight.
Starting with NO Alcohol in January, fewer carbs, no naughty stuff, and back to the gym one night per week.

To get organised, DH is with me, but he hasn't got a clue what it involves.
I'm stressed about all the stuff I have to do. We are going to start a weekly chat through the "to do" list, so that it becomes our list and not just mine. I'm going to start shopping online. Find a childminder near to home. Find an odd job man to enlist for the general upkeep of the house. Sort out all the bills and admin when it arrives.

I need a wife.

I may even have another baby.

Hi all! Back home, unpacked, hoovered aaannnd relax!

kitty I have a drop things then say 'uh-oh' here too. V cute!

Glad to be home after 10 days away. Minimopsy ate properly for the first time in ten days. Teething and post mmr temp past 2 days. She's randomly getting one of the big back lower teeth. Looks really redand sore. Also getting a 5th tooth on the top. So she will have 8 soon. No wonder she's a bit miserable.

She's also started having full on tantrums, mainly when I say no. Lying full length, kicking her legs and screaming. Didnt realise they started this early!

We are staying in having homemade chili, sour cream and guacamole (which I never even realised j liked until I made it fresh, it is a million times nicer than shop bought and dead cheap too!) and champagne yay! Fingers crossed minim sleeps!

Hope you all have a lovely evening and here's to a great 2013.

Oh and no new years resolutions here, I never keep them and it's negative for me. Next year is all about positive thinking!!!

I'm going to lose another 1.5 stone (to get back tp pre-baby weight), exercise more, eat less but still eat the things I like, and prepare for the (hopeful) house move.

Happy New Year people .....
