HJ Are you sure they don't want your kidneys somewhere in there? I remember getting my list from secondry school and going with my Mum to get it. She actually refused to get a lot of it, I quote 'what do you need a sports jumper for? Wear your regular one'. To be fair I did.

Ty Grin

Nohun DS was doing that, he's stopped now. I think it's just something they grow out of.

DS's sleep has completely gone to pot, me and DH were up from 11am until 1.50am with him screaming his head off at us. We'd go in, pat and shush him, he'd go quiet and then as soon as we were out he screamed. He did go down eventually thank goodness. Also the little darling has started biting me when I feed him, owwww!! Really having had that (and it's bloody painful), I can not for the life of me see why people would subject themselves to things like nipple clamps.

Lol at nipple clamps. Dd3 just nips. Think I'm becoming used to it now as I don't always notice.

She's just insisted on being carried to the shop with dh. He was going out & she followed him unjust a nappy. So I shoved a sleep suit on & she still asked. Then I got her coat & she was excited but cried at the pram & back pack so he has carried her. She was v excited & waving as they went!
She's always asking to go to work with him( sits by his lunch).

Hi, Ladies
We are safe, thank you - but are scarily close to Croydon. Hopefully far away enough. It is petrifying. We also live in a flat above shops. :( It feels surreal, watching the news. Horrific.

Just heard it's happening in Clapham too - also very close to us. :(

Hope your night was ok NoHun. We're in commuter Kent so London area but not near any trouble. DH used to live in Southfields which isn't so far from Wimbledon ~~reminisces...ah happy days~~

Is anyone else in London - or any of the other cities where there are problems? It's sad to think that we are in such a state that people choose to behave with such little regard for others. The level of discontent must be bubbling away under the surface of society - credit crunch/recession/austerity based does anyone think?

Thanks, Everyone.
We are good. Just shocked, what a disgrace.

SF, maybe we passed each other in the street! I have been here seven and a half years, worked here for longer.

Hope you all are safe too.

DS is 10 months old today!

NoHun - although I lived by the sea in Devon when I met dh I secretly loved Southfields and city life. I have such fond memories of that time in my life. I'm glad that your safe, it is a very worrying time.

New car being delivered imminently, I hope it is as lovely as we think it is!

Fricking idiots the lot of them, one youth was interviewed in Birmingham and he was going on about how it was all about respect. Yes because looting JD Sports is the right way to go about that. What they don't understand is that by doing this, they're ruining things for everybody and for themselves. It's pointless and those communities will feel the effects for ages.

Everyone on facebook is going on about it as well, they're all posting chain status's and the like.

Spring I don't think it is about that tbh, I think they're using it as an excuse just to be prats. It's mindless, look at what they're doing. They're looting phone shops, electrical outlets and clothes stores and trying to cause as much chaos as possible. Normally when there are tensions, you can feel it building up and it's normally localised. This hasn't been, it's been quite random.

Nohun I'm so glad you're ok, look after yourself.
