I think policywonk started one whilst I was writing this one... I knew this would bloody happen!

haha, it took an INTERMINABLY long time.

Funny how dependent we are on the IT. We're going to have social media withdrawal symptoms when it's all sorted out.

Adam Boulton interview: the 3rd chappie picked on Campbell and said he was being provocative. Thought Campbell argued his side with measure and calm whereas Boulton got a bit hot under the collar...a sign of Tory press frustration...

Thanks Ewe, I felt all adrift.

As a child, my sister always wanted a meerkat as a pet. Now she is a civil servant. What does this tell us I wonder?

Exam went surprisingly well thank you Proles, I only revised two topics and was praying they were one of the questions and thankfully it was! One more to go and then long summer holiday.

Have you had any joy catching up on your studies or are you waiting for a strong government to be in place before you resume?

Phew. I'm watching HIGNFY election night repeat - poor old Lembik (Lembit?). He looked shell-shocked.

Classic Marina Hyde

I do think the lefty thread/righty thread thing is not healthy tbh. Much as I love you all. But hell, that's not going to stop me posting.

Hello all.

DH just shouted "Who is this Reid bugger? Old man. Should go fishing!"

He is getting to know all the players now. Although he is very well informed (for a German)

Next person who says, "unelected PM" is getting a slap on the face with a cold wet fish.

Given how clunky that first sentence sounds in my previous post you're probably doubting my 'surprisingly well' assessment of my exam!

"I think policywonk started one whilst I was writing this one... I knew this would bloody happen!"

Ah, it'll be a classic lefty schism.

We'll start in-fighting, accuse the rival thread of betraying the workers, wrangle over subtle differences in ideology and eventually implode in a fog of rage, recrimination and righteousness.

[eagerly awaits implosion]

I'd be very interested to hear a journalist's view of the Boulton thing... Obv not a Murdoch journo...

Well Nick Clegg is playing IT all well considering everything that he has to balance. Hats off!

I like the sound of your DH Mme.

I have no idea how I'd cope if I had to revise for a big old 3-hour closed exam these days. I used to find it really easy to memorise reams of stuff, but I really struggle now.

Me too Beachie, need to get some sleep.

Have been somewhat absent today but will try to pay more attention tomorrow (back at work so fewer distractions).

Committing cardinal sin and posting the same thing in two threads...just posted this in unlected PM thread:

I guess we don't have a presidential system...if the Tories or anyone else wants that system then maybe they should throw it into the pot for discussion with the LDs?
