Vote for the Lib Dems.

Maybe if everyone who wanted too did, and stopped assuming it was a wasted vote, they would get more seats.

We're in the same situation. Tory seat.

Why don't you vote labour then if Lib Dems don't stand a chance and you don't want Tory - that seems obvious from what you say?

FWIW, I think things are so up in the air that if you did vote Lib Dem and everybody who sat on the fence voted for the party they want then there could be some surprise outcomes. I shall probably vote Lib Dem on the basis it isn't healthy for any party to be in power more than 13 yrs so no to Labour and I don't want the Tories.

However, in the long run, I doubt it would make bugger all difference who gets in so maybe there is no point in voting at all.

Actually, this is no help at all. I'll shut up now.

neicie thats how i feel!

thanks anyway all - off to work now. i shall deliberate further.

labour does all right for this area. am worried about cutting off nose to spite face in that respect. no idea what the lib dem mans local policies are - we have heard nothing from him.

nationally id like lib dems to win. but locally im not so sure!
aaahhhhh!

Vote LibDem. Maybe everyone else who would like to do that too but think the LDs don't have a chance will be pleasantly surprised.

But have a look at this; it might help.

Vote Lib-Dem.

If it's marginal then I would vote tactically (Labour) to keep the Tories out.

If not marginal it's a good idea to vote with what you believe in for the smaller parties as the more that vote the more likely we are to get proportional representation (it puts pressure on the two main parties). It is not a wasted vote and I will be happily voting Lib-Dem later

I have been mulling this over some more since I am running out of time to make a decision and I think I will vote Lib Dem because even if they don't get in, who knows what will happen if there is a hung parliament. Maybe the vote would count in some way.

And I really don't want to vote for the other two.

Mmmm, best thing is to hope that at some point we get an element of PR into the election process so the popular vote is reflected in the number of seats held by various parties in the commons.
