Just been chatting with the labour MP for Anglesey, Albert Owen in a cafe with DD and DS. He was eating a sausage sandwich. I was bf DD and chatted to the chap for a while after his aide noticed the very smiley DD and was pulling faces at her. He seemed very pleasant and we discussed family values and worries about drastic cuts to local services/benefits that would be made by certain parties if they get in. Unfortunately DS kept repeating 'mummy please stop talking to that man' loudly.
According to Albert, the only way to stop drastic cuts is to vote labour.

Also, yesterday I met Hon President of Plaid Cymru on the doorstep who was a really lovely guy and very caring and focused on looking after the local area. We discussed nuclear power, local schools etc. Phil Edwards was there too.

But, I still haven't made my final decision.

Anyone else had any positive/negative experiences with candidates (ladies from Rochdale, we know how you got on ).

Our local Lib Dem candidate, sitting MP Andrew Stunell came to the door, as did the Tory candidate Annesley Abercorn. At different times, of course.

I missed both of them because I was upstairs on the computer.

Well I was invited to a DC rally, but it was too early and too far to travel so I didn't go.

Am always seeing our local conservative MP who is the best, most down to earth guy (except he supports a crappy football team- shall not name ) because I canvass for him.

I have met our local Labour candidate and she is an absolute bitch, she's narky to all sides (including her own) thinks her poop smells of roses and is running for a seat on an inner london council to boot ( wtf?? ).. please don't get me started.

Have also met the local LIb Dem guy, he's very nice, if a little wobbly on his policies, and calls the local paper for a press shoot everytime he sneezes !! (desperate much?)

Don't want to meet; the local BNP candidate (no brainer there) or the local UKIP candidate as they promised not to field candidates where MP's are euro sceptics and our is very euro sceptic (the former head of local ukip has thrown a wobbly and rejoined the conservative party in protest, bless his little cotton (made in the uk ) socks ).

Most of them have Facebook pages if you want to see where they're going to be...

I'm quite disappointed as I have missed visits from all the local candidates, as been out at work.

My local tory candidate came to the door and asked who I was voting for. Told him I was undecided. He pomposly told me that "there was only way to vote". I shut the door on him not long after that
