I'm reading the post is otherwise known as "The Enforcer". Isn't that job of the Whips?

Current Chief Whip = Mark Spencer (whoever that is).

In theory he is responsible for managing crown properties to ensure the Queen's income - and giver her Majesty's 70+ % tax rate ensure a nict bit of coin for the government. It's too difficult a job for a politician so he has people to do that. Essentially it's a minister for things there isn't a minister for.

Anyone else fancy a political anorak discussion?

Eg., What does it mean that Michael Gove is now Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster ? It's some kind of logistics role. How does that fit with Dominic Cummings & the other arch Brexiters who want to go off in random wild directions? Will they finally eat their young?

Gove hinted he's against crashing out, yet serves in BJ's govt, yet seems rather centrally coordinating logistics role to support the Crash Out Plan.

So many changes, not sure I can get my head around them all.
