Anyone else fancy a political anorak discussion?

Eg., What does it mean that Michael Gove is now Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster ? It's some kind of logistics role. How does that fit with Dominic Cummings & the other arch Brexiters who want to go off in random wild directions? ~~Will they finally eat their young?~~

Gove hinted he's against crashing out, yet serves in BJ's govt, yet seems rather centrally coordinating logistics role to support the Crash Out Plan.

So many changes, not sure I can get my head around them all.

In theory he is responsible for managing crown properties to ensure the Queen's income - and giver her Majesty's 70+ % tax rate ensure a nict bit of coin for the government. It's too difficult a job for a politician so he has people to do that. Essentially it's a minister for things there isn't a minister for.

I'm reading the post is otherwise known as "The Enforcer". Isn't that job of the Whips?

Current Chief Whip = Mark Spencer (whoever that is).
