Why aren't the Tories getting the blame for Brexit and Gender Self ID bill?

Both of these policies have been started, promoted and will be enacted by the Tories. Why are people who don't like them blaming Labour? I know the Labour party haven't opposed them, but why do the seem to be getting the blame for them and the Tories are not?

Brexit, you’re wrong, David Cameron has got the blame. People seem to get frustrated with Corbyn, but then he’s a brexiter.

Gender self Id, they look like they’re all supporting it sadly.

Well that would seem where the blame (much of it) belongs to me, and Tory infighting. But so many posters seem to put the blame at Labour's door. I've not seen any 'I would never vote Tory again' threads about this stuff.

I've been wondering this as well. I find it slightly funny how some people are blaming absolutely everything on either labour or more usually corbyn. I can only think that tory voters are more rigid in their voting behaviour and perhaps tories are better at hiding behind words. I've not seen many tory remainers on the eu ref boards or right wing feminists on the self-id boards. So it could just be perception as well. Tbh, I'm baffled by it.

It difficult to be anything other than left wing on feminism boards- traditionally there's been a view that you can only be a true feminist if you're left wing. (I don't agree)

The Tories came up with self ID... But they are now dragging their heels.

I think there are more anti self ID Tory MPs than you might think.
David Davies who hosted the meeting in parliament is a Tory. Jacob Rees-mogg is anti self ID.

The Labour Party are more vocal about it at the moment cos of lily madigan, heather peto, Mumroe bergdorf & all the AWS stuff.

And yet on another thread posters are saying they lay 100% of the blame for Brexit on Corbyn. I wonder if it's that people have such low expectations of the Tories that they don't expect anything better from them?

I think Corbyn bears some responsibility because he made no effort to campaign against Brexit, but it wasn't him who called the bloody referendum in order to buy the UKIP vote.

Cameron called the referendum to avoid a split in his party.
