Second EU referendum. How would you vote?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I hear this statement made over and over again - that people would "vote differently if we had a EU referendum today". Would you though?

I was REALLY on the fence re. the referendum. I'm 23 and from a comfortable middle-class background.

In short, I think there is a surplus of people competing for jobs - both at graduate and service level - and that the situation is exasperated by free movement. I also think the problem of housing is made worse by free movement; that there isn't enough housing for people at the middle-lower end of the pay scale and that the number of people in this bracket is ever increasing.

However, I voted to remain last minute (after much persuasion). This was due to economic and environmental reasons. I don't trust the current government with environmental policy and I don't think price rises and fewer jobs (or jobs at lower pay) will help people like me.

Would I vote differently now? No. However, I would definitely be more on the remain side than the leave (e.g. my shopping bill depresses me!).

Was anyone else who was on the fence vote differently now?

Nope, I'd still go for Brexit and before I get shot down in flames and branded rascist etc I'm Italian/british.

I'd vote to remain. Brexit has no benefits for anyone besides those wanting to waterfowl employment and environmental protections.

I would still vote remain. Leaving the biggest economic trading block in the world, tearing up academic, scientific arrangements with EU partners and putting the GFA at risk is utter, utter madness.

However, there will be no second referendum so we will all have to learn the hard way and perhaps one day take stock of the insanity.

Still vote to remain and what's happened since just shows how dishonest and unprepared the leave campaign was.

I'm still hoping we do get a vote on the final proposed deal. You can hardly call the referendum democratic with all the false campaigning and down right lies told.

I am a scientist, so of course voted remain, and would do so again, as would anyone who cares for the environment. Do people really think the winds and tides are going to respect our decision to leave Europe?

Hopefully Britons in the EU will get the opportunity to vote next time... if so I will move from the "disenfranchised" to the "remain" camp. You never know, though I don't hold out much hope. The Tory manifesto promise of re-enfranchising Britons abroad seems to have died a quiet death, probably because they know most of us are remain voters.

What do we have to look forward to remaining in a Eurozone where unemployment is so much higher than ours a decade after the crash, and over 50% of the Eurozone youth are on Temp Contracts due to overly tight labour laws – the European Central Bank has wanted the likes of Italy and France to change for years – but no politician appears to be able to get it done e.g. as even President Macron is now trying to get ‘around’ the 35-hour week on behalf of companies, rather than scrap it.

An EU where we have been doing less trade with it, and the EUs share of global trade is falling, as even Mr Juncker admits;
”Europe's glory days at an end, warns Juncker”

Where would the UK remaining in the EU, be outside the Eurozone we never wanted to enter, as the EU Federalists tighten their grip, aided by France’s President Macron who has a firm commitment to a two tier Europe, even 2-tier MEPs?

A Eurozone needing reforms to grow, throwing their scraps out to the rest of the members, as new members such as Bosnia join - we are best out of the EU, but trading with the EU on mutually beneficial terms - with another 85% of global GDP out there AWAY from the EU..

Remain. But this time I would make an effort to campaign for Remain too, it was a no brainer as far as I was concerned so I would go and explain the facts to people who were swallowing a pack of lies.

The sheer arrogance of Brexiteers in not having a plan and STILL not having one beggars belief.

The last referendum was nothing but lies.

Not sure how the EU has been rude and vindictive, nor how it is a sinking ship?
