Don't be ridiculous. How do you think all these things are paid for? We need a strong and sustainable economy. We are already billions of pounds in debt and we can't keep spending spending spending.

Everyone would love to write a blank cjewir

Excellent counter arguments there.

Sorry - baby knocked phone!

Everyone would like to write a blank cheque to the NHS and schools, have more bank holidays and do what we please, but we can not saddle the next generation with these enormous debts. It's not fair.

You should be ashamed of yourself for being a GF and secondly for assuming your opinion is the only one that counts.

We will all vote according to the beliefs we have for ourselves, for our families and for our country.

In SHOCK HORROR NEWS, those beliefs may differ from yours.

Not ashamed of yourself, no.
Possibly a bit dim.

Grow up. This is not a one party state. Labour are an embarrassment and currently unable to steward the state assets we hold so dear. How old are you?

I'm sorry? A strong and stable economy? Where is this nirvana you speak of?

It's just a ridiculous and goady post isn't it Gretchen? Can you imagine the reverse?

You should be ashamed of yourself for voting Labour between 1997 and 2010 and expecting to be better off in the long run Hmm

So none of you use public services thenHmm

Wh? Do Tory voters not pay tax towards many of these services which entitles them to use them?

FYI, I'd rather chop my arm off than vote Tory - but I won't be voting racist UKIP MkII (i.e. Labour) either - not until the albatross is gone.

Why is what Labour stands for an embarrassment? Do you really vote based on personalities?

Tory voters are supporting funding cuts to all these areas despite the fact you are happy to use them.

It's all relative, isn't it, OP. We need our economy to be as strong and secure as possible to pay for everything we want / need.

We have to chose whether we want Theresa May and Phil Hammond or Jeremy Corbin and John McDonell to be in charge of that.

Don't criticise me for choosing Conservative in that situation.

I don't make the connection personally between voting Tory and being ashamed of using public services. If anything, it's probably predominantly Tory voters' taxes on their second homes paying for them so why not?! Might get the bus today now you've mentioned it....

Do you really vote based on personalities?

Partly. If I don't want to an ineffective clueless bumbling clown to run the country.

MoreThanUs · 05/05/2017 09:51

It's got nothing to do with personality and everything to do with competency, OP. Don't kid yourself.

Not just on personalities but on competence or lack of. And willingness to compromise or lack of.
That and indulgence of antisemitism , sucking up to the IRA as a pose etc.

Currently Labour could not organise a piss up in a brewery - they are a shambles and you want people to vote for that? A complete unmitigated disaster zone? I didn't vote Tory btw but there's not a chance come hell nor high water that Labour could get its arse together and become electable in 35 days.

In what way is he a clueless and bumbling clown? Boris Johnson anyone?
