I live in NE Hants, where the ukip candidate has been suspended for telling the Daily Mirror he wanted to shoot the Tory between the eyes.
He was still on the ballot paper, how does that work? Would you be voting for ukip rather than him personally? Or is it because it's a suspension, he might be reinstated so they can't just ditch him?
I don't think it matters, it's a fairly safe seat for Conservatives, although perhaps they should consider a security team, but I was surprised to see I could have voted for him if I'd wanted to.
