For anyone who, like me, was wondering how the process of arraigning PC Ian Harwood, who batoned the late Ian Tomlinson at the G20 demo, - I've just cottoned on that he's up before the courts next week. Westminster Magistrates' Court. www.guardian.co.uk//uk/2011/may/24/dpp-statement-prosecute-simon-harwood

Throw a fire extinguisher that hurts no one (bloody stupid though) and your soon banged up.

A member of the filth directly caused a death due to his thuggery and he is still walking the streets, worse still the establishment tried to cover it up.

A few of his "blind" colleagues need to be booted out as well.

Good. I'm glad he's facing charges.

But that lad who threw the fire extinguisher deserved to be locked up as well, its only by pure luck that he didn't kill anyone.

Viva, correct but what a difference to the leeway and "blind eyes" given to the plod.

whjy are you posting here in such detail?

Agreed. It's not that it's OK to throw fire extinguishers off buildings but it should be comparably not OK to hit people then who fall over and die of internal bleeding, even if you work for the police.

The idea that a clearly identified member of the public who had done the same thing on video, surrounded by police, on the front page of a newspaper wouldn't have had to answer some difficult questions long before now just doesn't compute.
