The Lady Vanishes - anyone listening?

Anyone listening to this podcast? It's one of the most baffling true crime ones I've heard.

I think the answers to the puzzle could be here in the UK - Sussex or Kent specifically. It's pretty well put together and even better, no adverts!

Yes, I've listened to them all on the back of enjoying The Teacher's Pet. There are a few similarities between the cases in terms of attitudes to missing people and the school abuse of pupils.
I find some of it, especially the bonus episodes, overly long - there's only so much to be drawn from an interview with people somewhere where she might have gone 30 years ago. The court exchange though regarding the missing person status was interesting.
It's such a shame the Luxembourg link didn't seem to clear things up more.

I agree - an entire episode about whether or not she was in witness protection was unnecessary. As was the "cult" theory.

Still no clearer on what did actually happen though.

The story is fascinating. I started the series thinking Marion must have left but the more detail that emerges, I now doubt that.

I listened to this a while ago but got bored with the bonus episodes.
It is very intriguing, especially with her link to The Southport School and the abuse claims around about the same time.
I think the answer lies with someone from TSS.

I listened to the whole thing, and found it sad and fascinating in equal measure. I really felt so sad for Marion’s daughter until the episode where they harassed M. Ramakel on his doorstep. The way they went about that really left a sour taste and I couldn’t feel the same level of sympathy for them after that.

That poor man, whether he was involved or not, did not deserve that.

Even after that, I still find myself wondering about Marion and how someone can just disappear like that. So strange.

Such a shame there was no CCTV at the bank or airport. The change of name on the passport is really weird, especially to something so unusual if she actually was planning to start a new life. Marion did seem to have quite a complex love life that she kept secret, I think the truth is in that area, with the man she was with in the car when her daughter saw her last at the drive through.
