Cannot recommend this podcast highly enough. Story of a native American girl removed from her family in the 1970s and what happened to her. It's a bit like S-Town - starts off that you think it's going to be a simple "whodunnit" and it turns into so much more than that. I was totally unaware of the "Sixties Scoop" and this podcast is very eye-opening, (ear-opening?)

Had a listen out running, it was so good I ended up doing twice what I usually do just to hear more! I remember reading about the Truth & Conciliation hearings regarding residential schools for indigenous children in Canada. Just jaw-droppingly awful. Looking forward to listening to more episodes, great recommendation!

It's one of the best I've heard recently. Very well made and I think it helps that the main presenter is also from a similar background.
