don't know why i am asking this but......

i have totally crashed emotionally today. i am a tired mum but this is different.
i feel like i am about 3 steps removed from everything and have no interested in talking s**t with anyone (i do like a chat normally !)
i have a bizarre instinct that it is something profoundly linked to something spiritual/other wordly/energetic
are there any psychics (or anyone)out there who have any idea what i should do ?

i am not a sceptic nor am i a disbeliever and this has somewhat blindsided me.

what do i do ?
I feel an expectancy ? like i have to go through this ...almost like a contraction ?
i just want to be silent and still all the time.
it isn't scary.
it all sounds very weird i know but whilst 99 % of people reading this are going to think 'wtf' i have a really strong feeling that someone will know what i should do...prob not on mumsnet admittedly but what better place to start.

help ??

anyone ???

mamazee Mon 22-Sep-08 22:18:11

there must be someone who doesn't think i am a bit loopy ?

I am no expert but it sounds like you are tired/ stressed and have sort of moved away from that. It sounds OK to me as temporary respite! You probably need to think what is so overwhelming in your life that you need this kind of psychic space. Talk to someone (doctor, vicar, counsellor) - they will help you work it out.

Don't think you are loopy. Can you find a period of time to be silent and still, then in that stillness ask if there is a message for you?

I do that with God sometimes.

sweetheart, you are not crazy i can recommend that you contact this lady who might be able to answer your questions better than i can xxx

fransmom Tue 23-Sep-08 09:29:36

i would also suggest meditation, like MaryBS, (just sitting still and emptying your mind of daily distractions, ask for the protection of archangel michael so that you feel safe) keep a diary of anything that does come into your mind, that way you will be able to see what is "info" and what could be just daily stuff. hth xxx

I think i know what you mean - -the "expectancy" thing really hit home with me
Is everything ok with you otherwise?

SaintGeorge Tue 23-Sep-08 10:30:50

When I feel like that, it is normally because I have become too caught up in my problems and need to take some time to recharge my spiritual batteries and not just my physical ones, IYKWIM.

Meditation works for me.

Agree with fransmom re the diary.

Doesn't sound loopy to me either

hiya ladies
thanks so much for all your posts. i went to see someone today and it was amazing. i think i was really ripe for opening my heart and seeing what other things could be going on with me that i had not thought possible. it was 4 hours of deep looking and i feel exhausted but liberated
fransmom...i live half an hour from glastonbury so i will look up the lady you have suggested...still trying to work out if you could have known that or not !

i think i need to start meditating again too, its just so hard to do with a LO
i needed to re connect with things that were important for me and today i have realised that the journey i was on before i had a baby needn't stop because i am a mum
i need to be creative and learn how to continue with him here too !
i started by testing the water with my dp about something i have always wanted to do but never got around to it...i wanted to visit auroville a community in india and i suggested it to dp expecting him to say 'of course not' and he said 'ok time to go would be october next year so we better start saving and we should go for a few months and explore' (be careful what you wish for!)
i am finally re connecting with this huge energy of good and positivity i can enjoy thinking about MMR, whether ds likes mushrooms, and which toilet cleaner is best without feeling like i am dying grin

fransmom Fri 26-Sep-08 17:43:17

lol sm i can't drive so still can't go unless i know someone who's going but would sometimes like to be able to take dd to such places without relying onother people - driving lessons and then the cars are soooooooo expensive

mamazee Sun 28-Sep-08 09:09:35

thanks fransmom
surfermum i go to glastonbury quite alot ...its great...never been anywhere like it...wouldn't want to live there but love it

Surfermum Mon 29-Sep-08 21:20:27

I really want to go. I went ages ago when I wasn't into all the spiritual stuff and it just didn't float my boat. I'm sure it will now I'm a weirdy freak. I want to go up the Tor and to the Chalice Well. I'd be best to steer clear of the shops as I'd probably spend a fortune, although no doubt I will make up some excuse about needing to connect with the energy them .... more like connect with the Goddess Barclaycard grin.
