Philosophy/religion

Is there such a thing as a book(s) which explain in simple terms the differences between church denominations and also different religions?

I am not especially religious but am interested in being better informed.

Dc ask questions from time to time and I realise I only know the very basics .

Is there anything I can read that's not heavy going, that will tell me the differences between church denominations and perhaps something else which will tell me the basics about other main religions and beliefs followed in the world.

I really feel I should know a little more than I do.

Lion Book pf World religions Lion Handbook

it is probably a bit skewed to the Monotheisms, but it is pretty good and good on the similarities/differences.

Yes! That's just right.

I need more of a factual grounding than something spiritual.

Thanks so much Weegiemum, a big help.
