Well if you were you'd be the sort of dumbfuck I wouldn't want to be friends with.

No, but it might make me want to vomit a little.

Not offended think it is a bit bleurgh to be offensive. Are your friends christians? Do they take offense easily.

I don't like it but it wouldn't offend me. I'd just go

Report
Dottydot · 19/04/2008 04:31

I'd think it was very odd...

Report
DutchOma · 19/04/2008 09:18

I wouldn't want my baby to wear it, offense, no, but a bit sad about the misunderstanding about who 'baby jesus' (no capitals I see) actually is and what He means to Christians.

MaryBS · 19/04/2008 13:18

I'd think tacky more than offensive...

nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 17:31

would yo buy one that said cuter than baby mohammed???

Report
hecate · 19/04/2008 17:36

Would you put the baby in a tshirt that said "cuter than baby Mohammed" ?? If not, why not? Worth thinking about.

I wouldn't be offended, but I would think "oh dear, they're the type of people who like t-shirt slogans. Naffola." and cross them off my christmas card list.

Report
hecate · 19/04/2008 17:37

how did that happen? Should have refreshed before posting and then I wouldn't be CarGirls echo.

Report
CarGirl · 19/04/2008 17:39

no, it just proves that great minds think alike

Report
nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 17:51

no, because i believe in jesus not muhammed. and also jesus as a baby is part of christianity whereas i don't think muhammed really features as a baby ... although i could be wrong as i know nothing about that religion.

I think the t-shirt is in bad taste.

Report
harpsichordcarrier · 19/04/2008 19:06

I think it is supposed to be arch and a little bit rebellious
it is funnier than "cuter than baby mohammed" because the story of baby mohammed is not part of the prevailing British culture

Report
Janni · 19/04/2008 19:09

naff and tacky

Report
nappyaddict · 19/04/2008 19:28

think i'm gonna go for this one instead.

nappyaddict, please say you've found that t-shirt in a shop for a quarter the price! £18 for a bay's t-shirt, ffs! It will be puked on, shat on, the thrown out as too small after a few months. you could buy something to keep forever for that price!
