glitterfairy, welcome home egyptian goddess. Did the red sea speak and tell you good stories?

fairyfly, what is a bubble machine?

Report
fairyfly · 09/01/2005 12:05

mmm suppose i didn't mean a bubble machine as they are things that blow bubbles everywhere. Its a tall glass cylinder full of water, air pushes bubbles through it and they light up.

do you mean a \link{ inventors.about.com/library/weekly/aa092297.htm\lava lamp}

I mediate mostly in bed before going to bed. Its the quietest place and I can do bodywork at the same time. I try and step onto the collective unconcious, the matrix, spiderweb of life... I have a visualisation I am waiting until i get to NZ to do... will put it in a dictaphone i think.

Paps what do you mean??? "I mediate mostly in bed before going to bed. Its the quietest place and I can do bodywork at the same time." bodywork?

Ok My mind is a sewer and Beets you looked at a picture of a guru. I would laugh! I am thinking goodness gracious me at this very moment.

I think I would be useless at this as my mind works overtime the moment things are quiet.

ahh glitter, that's the whole big point, that's me to a tee, racing mind, prone to spirals of anxiety and that's why meditation can be so good...i just concentrate on my breath and whenever my mind goes walkabout i notice it, and without condemning go back to focussing on breath

glitterfairy · 09/01/2005 16:02

Yes Paps once posted a link which said that some types of meditation you could do by concentrating on one thing. So I did very successfuly concentrate on a peacocks feather in my mind and looked at all the colours and the texture and everything. I spent a peaceful half hour and felt much better. Every time I try to think of nothing at all it is awful and my mind goes hyper! That is why I think I need a coach! (Certainly not some old hippy guru though apart from paps)

you know that tantric mediation is very beneficial supposedly feeling energy (wot I perceive as God I guess) matter and spirit. I was actually talking to dh about it this morning. So you never know my luck. Have a magic book on the tree of estasy too.

Anyways, it is not all that sordid really and I think I can follow on finally as I have read a book which speaks to me about this now.

So no discussions with the Red Sea then?

I like to do the Alexander Technique when in bed. And cranial work then abit of snoring!

OK was only teasing paps. We went to the Red Sea at midnight English time on New Years Eve and drank champagne. It was very relaxing. THe red sea doesnt talk you know Paps. Dd went diving and got quite into it also water skiing and wake boarding and para sailing! She would be a natural to do meditation with. It is her birthday tomorrow and I have brought her a sick I love you Daughter card which she will love!

Probably not English, but in your heart. I guess you were there when the tsunami struck?

i know you were just teasing... are you not envious of my potential to become a tantric SEX GODDESS. I mean why mediate alone;)
