A modern adaptation of the Easter story - does such a thing exist???

(sorry for the double post - wasn't sure whether culture vultures or religion was the best place to put it).

You know there have been "modern Nativity" stories (the televised Liverpool one springs to mind). Does anyone know of a modern adaptation of the Easter story - preferably not too long - and not requiring too many props/actors etc.

Want to do something totally different for the Good Friday evening as church this year - we usually do Olivet de Calavary (sp), The Crucifixion, or Jerusalem Joy type stuff and I'm BORED of it.

So can anyone help direct me in the right direction????

They did a televised version called the Manchester passion the other year.

You could try looking up stuff by Rob Lacey, who wrote 'Word on the Street' (also known as 'the street bible') he did loads of comtemporary drama stuff.
