The Secret

Just wondered how many of you knew about The Secret and are successfully using it.

I found the book in the library. I didn't realise it was a film as well, I want to get it as soon as possible but you can also view it online for a couple of pounds.

I had heard this was good but i had a quick flick through in the shop and it was just a load of quotes.
Or have i completely misunderstood?

It look like that PFNM but it's actually a book of instructions/information and it's very easy to read once you start. The process of reading it even makes you feel good!

I find it good. I read it every so often and it is good for giving you a sense of perspective insofar as being grateful for what you have as well as taking responsibilty for your feelings and destiny.
Oh an it is excellent for finding parking spaces

Yes the parking space thing really works doesn't it! I really believe I'll get one.. and I do.. just about every time, even in the car park of Kent and Canterbury hospital which is no mean feat I can tell you!

I have just (in the past, well the recent past, right up to NOW! I just don't want to jinx the future but talking in the present tense!) had problems with summoning larger stuff, like sums of money, say the sum of money I need to to put petrol in the car by three o clock today or else I can't do my school run and am fucked, for instance

I'm working on it though.

I just made DH drop everything and meditate for 15 mins on the bed with me.. once I got the idea out of his head that meditation was all I had in mind, he did it! I laid there thinking about petrol (thereby blocking both the abundance of money and preventing medication! ) and then kept falling asleep. (Dh said I was twitching, which is what I always do when falling alseep.. and disturbing his meditation. Wasn't aware of it though..) I have always been crap at medication. I will do better next time. (We were doing the technique described on the post for Newbies on The Secret forum I joined last night.)
